Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
Beim Aus-

<Desc / Clms Page number 1>
The invention relates to a filter, preferably for vacuum cleaners or the like. Cleaning machines, with a plurality of vertical filter bags arranged in circles, held by a common circular support plate, and with a device for removing the attached dust.
Filter systems and the problem of filtering are well known from everyday use and from special fields such as milling. Large special filter systems have a good, almost perfect mode of operation; However, due to their large volume, they can hardly be used for handy domestic use. The invention relates to a filter which maintains the good mode of operation of industrial filter systems even with a handy shape and thereby makes it possible to equip house vacuum cleaners and mobile cleaning systems with such a filter.
The object is achieved in that the impeller of the suction fan is arranged concentrically with the support plate and above it, and that between the impeller and the support plate there is a wing which can be rotated concentrically to the impeller and which alternately closes the openings in the support plate leading to the filter bags, which is provided with in the driver lugs projecting from the impeller are provided for its drive.
An exemplary embodiment of the filter according to the invention is shown in the drawings.
Hiebei shows Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through the filter, Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same (along the line II-II). The contaminated medium is sucked in via the intake duct-l-in Fig. 1 and spirally guided and braked into the cyclone --2-- along the wall, the dirt falling into the dirt container --4-- along the cyclone wall. The necessary vacuum is generated by the fan --6--, which sucks in the air through the duct --7-- and presses it into the filter bags --3--. Fine filtering of the medium is achieved through the cylindrical filter bags --3--. The cleaned air then flows out along the entire circumference of the housing --10-- via outlet slots --9--.
The exiting air can be cleaned again by inserting a filter cloth at the outlet slots --9--.
In order to keep the suction power of the filter constant, a circumferential wing --17-- is provided, which is provided with flags --11--, is driven by the circulating air and thereby alternately covers the filter bags. As a result, different pressure ratios are generated which vibrate the filter hose so that it is forced to shake off the dust particles adhering to it.
If a faster turn of the wing --17-- is requested, the flags --11-- are enlarged. To ensure the negative pressure in the cyclone --2--, a truncated cone-shaped bottom flap --5-- is provided, which hangs loosely on threads. When the device is switched on, this flap closes the central cylinder and the coarse dirt can remain on it. When leaving

supply. Space --8-- can be used to hold the motor part and to accommodate the cable reel and the handle.
