Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Herrenhnt aus luftdurchlässigem, versteiften Stoff, welcher den Zweck hat, die schädlichen Einflüsse der wegen ihrer Ansehnlickeit und guten Haltbarkeit in Verwendung stehenden Filzhüte, insbesondere der steifen Filzhütc zu beseitigen und den Anforderungen in Bezug auf vollständige und gleichmässige Licht- und Luftdurchlässigkeit bei genügender Widerstandsfähigkeit zu entsprechen und dabei eine gute Form und ein ansehnliches Äussere zu bieten.
Es sind bereits Kopfbedeckungen aus versteiftem, luftdurchlässigem Gewebe oder gasartigen Stoffe bekannt, doch zeigen diese entweder den Mangel eines annehmbaren Äusseren, da sie in der Regel aus einzelnen Teilen zusammengesetzt sind, oder sie tragen ein einheitliches Äussere zur Schau und sind dann nicht genügend widerstandsfähig.
