Description

Feuerfester Schlichtstein für Ofen-und Feuerungsanlagen.
EMI1.1

Refractory sizing stone for furnace and furnace systems.
EMI1.1
ovens and the like.
The plain stones in common brick shape that have been used up to now show the disadvantage. that the fly ash settles on the flat parts of the stones and the gas ducts more or less clogged after long periods of operation, causing operational disruptions.
The finishing stones with a three-sided cross-section that are used to avoid this inconvenience have the disadvantage that their structure is unsafe and not very durable because of the inadequate support.
These disadvantages are to be eliminated by the sizing stone on which the present invention is based.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows a diagrammatic view of the new sizing stone and FIG. 2 shows a structure of the sizing stone, as it is suitable for example for regenerators of generator furnaces.
As can be seen from the drawing, the two-sided supports are a of the finishing stone
EMI1.2
is sharp-edged. The four-sided prismatic supports a are beveled on their inner sides o in the shape of a pyramid and form a sharp corner d at the transition point after the central part b.
If such finishing stones are constructed in the manner shown in FIG. 2, they offer a completely safe and permanent structure due to the four-sided prismatic shape of the supports a, while on the other hand fly ash, mixed dust or the like do not appear on the sharp edges of the central part b of the stones and can lead to blockages of the passage channels.
In addition, the finishing stones described have the essential advantage that the heat is stored much better in the sharp-edged parts of the stone than in the stones with a square cross-section. In this way, a higher temperature is achieved in the gas chambers delimited by the slopes.
EMI1.3
is so large that the stones can usually be used again after the stove has been extinguished or the like.
