Zusammensetzbare, plastische Geländedarstellung.
Die Erfindung betrifft die bekannten zusammensetzbaren plastischen Geländedarstellungen (Reliefkarten) und bezweckt eine grössere Mannigfaltigkeit der Zusammensetzung unter Verwendung derselben Mittel. die Geländedarstellung soll insbesondere für den militärischen Geländeunterricht dienen, wo es darauf ankommt, ein möglichst verschiedenartig zu gestaltendes, hügeliges oder ebenes Gelände, wie es für Kampfzwecke in Betracht kommt, zu schaffen, in welchem mittels beigegebener plastischer und biegsamer Truppensignaturen taktische Übungen sowie Aufgaben aus dem Feldwachdienst und der Gefechtslehre wie im Gelände selbst durchgeführt werden können.
Die Möglichkeit, das Gelände ständig abwechselnd zu gestalten, beruht einerseits in einer verschiedenartigen Zuaammensctzbarkeit der Höhendarstellungen unter Verwendung derselben Teile, andererseite darin, dass die beweglichen Geländeteile und-gegenstände biegsam und anRchmiegsatn sind, so dass sie in jeder beliebigen Gruppierung eingelegt und zu einem für den vorliegenden Unterrichtszweck gewünschten Gesamtgeländebild vereinigt werden können. In diesem den Verhältnissen der Wirklichkeit genau nachgebildeten Gelände sind unter Verwendung der eigenartig konstruierten Truppensignaturen Übungen aller Art wie im Gelände selbst durch- zuführen (Meldedienst, Marschsicherung, Vorpostendienst, Postenunterweisung, Patrouillengang, Zielbezeichnung, Feuerverteilung,
taktische Übungen in zwei Parteien).
Die Art und Weise, wie die Höhendarstellungen geteilt werden, um sie verschiedenartig zusammensetzen zu können, ist in den Fig. 1 bis 5 veranschaulicht. Die Höhen sind entweder auf einer ebenen Platte zeichnerisch dargestellt, oder sind körperliche Nachbildungen im Kleinen.
Die Fig. 5 zeigt einen Schnitt durch eine solche körperliche Höhendarstellung. Alle diese Kartenteile haben entweder eine oder zwei Vertikalschnittfächen von gleicher Gestalt, so dass sie be- liebig aneinander gereiht und die Stücke mit zwei Schnittflächen zwischen zwei andere Teile gesetzt werden können. Die zusammengehörigen Schnittflächen sind mit denselben Buchstaben bezeichnet (in der Zeichnung AB).
Die biegsamen Ausstattungsstücke (Fig. 6 bis 29) sind : a) Einiegbarc und nach Bedarf zusammensetzbare Geländegegenstände :

Composable, three-dimensional terrain representation.
The invention relates to the known composable plastic terrain representations (relief maps) and aims at a greater diversity of composition using the same means. The terrain display should be used in particular for military terrain instruction, where it is important to create a hilly or flat terrain that can be designed as differently as possible, as it is considered for combat purposes, in which tactical exercises and tasks are carried out by means of the enclosed plastic and flexible troop signatures the field guard service and combat training as can be carried out in the field itself.
The possibility of constantly changing the terrain is based, on the one hand, on the fact that the elevation representations can be combined in different ways using the same parts, and on the other hand in the fact that the movable terrain parts and objects are flexible and conformable, so that they can be placed in any grouping and become one for the overall terrain picture desired for the present teaching purpose can be combined. In this terrain, which is exactly reproduced from reality, exercises of all kinds are to be carried out using the uniquely constructed troop signatures, as in the terrain itself (reporting service, march security, outpost service, guard briefing, patrol, target designation, fire distribution,
tactical exercises in two parties).
The manner in which the elevation representations are divided in order to be able to put them together in various ways is illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5. The heights are either shown graphically on a flat plate or are physical replicas on a small scale.
Fig. 5 shows a section through such a physical height representation. All of these card parts have either one or two vertical cut surfaces of the same shape, so that they can be strung together as desired and the pieces with two cut surfaces can be placed between two other parts. The cut surfaces that belong together are denoted by the same letters (in the drawing AB).
