Machine for the production of cone bags.
The invention relates to a machine by means of which cone bags of all sizes can be produced from an endless paper web without any conversion of the interacting machine parts.
The essence of this machine is that the paper cut from the paper web in appropriate formats is fed between two folding plates, of which the lower one is provided with angled folding edges and can be moved vertically, while the upper plate is fixed and is cut out according to the lower folding plate . By lifting the lower folding plate, an angular cutout is first made in the front edge of the paper sheet by means of a knife attached to the apex of the folding angle and then the bending of the paper is effected through each folding edge along a diagonal line running from the cutout to the rear and outward.
When the angular folding plate is raised further, the paper is transferred to a pre-lifting device and along the

Two superposed rollers 1 pull the paper running off a roll to the desired length, whereupon it is fed by means of the belts 2 to the scissors 3, which cut the paper transversely. The cut paper is passed through the belts 4 of the diagonal folding device.
EMI1.2
the folding plate 5 is pushed up into the cutout of the folding plate 6 and is lifted over the surface of the latter.

As soon as the table top 5 has been lifted over the surface of the table top 6, the pre-folded sheet of paper comes into the area of rollers 14 arranged above the folding device, which are set in rotation by chain drives 15 and around which belts 16 are placed, which the

and thereby cause the complete bending and folding of the paper protruding downward in the gap between the folded edges along the diagonal lines d.
While the movable table J goes down again, the folded sheet of paper is passed between the two rotating knives 17 and thereby cut into two parts (along the center line c); then the edges 1 adjacent to the cut are provided with adhesive on the downward facing side by a suitable device, for example a gumming roller 21.
Both bag pieces are finally fed into a double-edge folding device. whose folders 18, which are wound in opposite directions around 1800, bend the edges coated with glue and fold them down to the left and right onto the two folded pieces of paper, while these latter are moved further by guide belts 20 placed over rollers 19 and are released from the machine as two finished cone bags.
PATENT REQUESTS:
1. Machine for the production of cones of any shape and size, characterized by an angular folding plate (5) and a folding plate (6) provided with an angle cutout corresponding to this folding plate. of which the former is vertically movable and the side parts of the sheet of paper advanced on it folds downwards along the two angular edges as it is lifted over the fixed folding plate, while angular knives (7, 8) attached to the folding plates make a cutout at the junction of the folding lines as well as by a feed device (14.
16), which grips the lifted sheet of paper and pulls it out of the angular gap between the folding plates while fully folding its two flaps while simultaneously cutting into two bag workpieces.
