must therefore meet the sieve shell 1 directly. The goods that are sucked in and carried along, of course, take the same route, that is, they are thrown against the sieve casing and this leads to the sifting.
The effect of the compressed air generated by the centrifugal fan is supported by the centrifugal effect. When the sucked-in material is guided through the blades 2 of the fan, the material must of course come into contact with the blades themselves, i.e. slide outwards in the radial direction on the surface of the blades and thus be subjected to the action of the centrifugal force that is caused by the air flow generated movement in the radial direction against the screen jacket is significantly supported. In order to distribute the supplied material as evenly as possible over the entire length of the wings, deflector plates 8 of suitable shape or similar devices can be arranged one above the other on the axis 7 or on the inner edges of the wings.
Mixing devices or comminuting devices of any known construction can of course be arranged above the classifying machine in order to simultaneously bring the rotation of the shaft 7 to use for such purposes. It should be repeated that with this configuration of the air generating device as a centrifugal fan, there is the possibility of moving it with its periphery closer than before against the screen casing, so that there is only a small gap between this and the periphery of the vane, so that the sucked in and through the wing 2 outwardly driven air does not escape laterally in the screen jacket, but must go through the mesh of the screen.
