The invention relates to a water pressure sprayer with a double-acting piston, which from
Line pressure is applied to the spray agent introduced into the syringe, whereby a four-way valve is provided which controls the flow of water to the two sides of the piston and the spraying of the solution.
Known devices of this type have the disadvantage that the spray agent must be introduced separately mixed into the working cylinder, whereupon the water pressure drives the piston from the other side and pushes the spray agent into the nozzle. After the cylinder contents have been sprayed, correspondingly complicated cleaning and filling work is necessary.
For example, a known construction has a flying double-acting piston, the two cylinder sides of which can be connected separately to the water line and spray nozzle and the finished spray solution has to be introduced through its own valves. This requires mixing outside of the device in its own mixing device and constant repositioning of the connection hoses and actuation of the valves, with the resulting possible errors.
In the subject of a further known construction, an improvement of this state is already present by a pipeline with a three-way valve connecting both cylinder sides, but the other disadvantages are also given here. Another known embodiment has a single-acting piston which drives a smaller piston which again injects the spray concentrate into the water flow, so that in this embodiment mixing outside the device is avoided. However, it is necessary to return the single-acting piston to its starting position after each injection process and to fill in new concentrate, for which the device must be opened; there is no possibility to switch.
The technically highest quality, but also the most complex and heaviest known design, which must therefore also be designed to be mobile, has a double-acting piston that is acted upon in both directions and reversed by a four-way valve. One would therefore be able to work continuously with this single tap, if in this case too the spray agent mixture would not have to be produced outside the device and each would have to be poured into one cylinder after it has been removed from it.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided in that there is a mixing chamber arranged upstream of the injection cylinder in the direction of water flow, through which the water flows during operation of the piston, the hollow piston rod being connected to the four-way valve and serving as a line to the part of the injection cylinder facing away from the four-way valve .
Details of the invention can be seen from the description and the drawings. FIG. 1 shows the device in section with the upper piston position, while FIG. 2 shows the same device in section with the lower piston position.
As can be seen from the drawings, the device, which is portable with a handle - 5 -, consists of a transparent PVC cylinder - 14 - with graduations - 13 - in which the movable one is located

--12-- is located.15--, which are held together by means of the tube - l - serving as a piston rod - with the interposition of seals - 11, with the screw - 17 - serving as a lock. The upper part - 10-- contains the mixing chambers - 9 - and is designed as a cast part with an end cover --18--. It also serves to accommodate the reversing valve - 4--. The lower part - 15 - is also made of light metal casting and designed accordingly, z.
B. as a ribbed floor with feet - 16--. The prerequisite for using the device is a hose connection to a water pipe system that has at least 1 atm pressure and approx. 10 l / min. Releases water, the operation of the device z. B. for pest control is:
Before starting up the device, the quick coupling - 7 - on the water supply hose is loosened or it is shut off by means of a valve.
After opening the mixing chamber cover - 6 - the spray additive required for 10 l of water is poured into the mixing chamber --9-- in liquid or powder form. The cover --6-- is then screwed tight and the reversing valve - 4 - is brought to position c (for piston position a) or to position d (for piston position b). Now the hose - 8 - can be connected to the device with the quick coupling --7--. The tap water now flows into the mixing chamber --9 - and mixes there with the spray.
The ready-to-spray mixture passes through the reversing valve 4 and the valve outlet 2 into the cylinder 14, with the piston 12 moving from position a in FIG. 1 to position b (shown in dashed lines ) is moved. The cylinder - 14 - is now filled with the finished spray. Now the quick coupling - 7 - is released again or the water pipe is switched off, the
EMI1.2

drives up (Fig. 2). In doing so, it displaces the volume of spraying agent located in the cylinder --14 - which flows through the four-way mixing valve-4 - to the hose connection-3. Due to the large piston area, the spray pressure is extremely high, which ensures fine atomization of the spray agent.
The spraying process continues until the spraying agent content of the cylinder - 14 - (101) has been sprayed.
For further work with the device, the previously described process must be repeated, namely loosen the quick coupling - 7 -, unscrew the cover --6--, empty the mixing chamber --9-- and fill in the spray, cover-6-- to close and set reversing valve --4-- to position c.
Work can thus be continued continuously, whereby after the work is finished, the device can be flushed straight through with tap water without the addition of spray agent in the container --9--, thus preventing spray residues from laying the facility.
The device is suitable for spraying all sprayable aqueous solutions, where they are e.g. B. for pest control on trees and bushes, in the impregnation and coloring of components and the like are used.
