The invention relates to a panel, in particular a door leaf, consisting of a frame with cover panels on both sides and an insulating panel provided between the cover panels.
Door leaves of this type are characterized by their light weight, but the problem of sound insulation can be solved without increasing the weight of the door.
In the case of the door leaves of this type made known by the German Auslegeschrift 1239078, the insulating panel is fixedly arranged within the frame and connected to the cover sheets by gluing.
EMI1.1
Body made of cardboard, e.g. B. corrugated cardboard is used.
The object on which the invention is based is to increase the sound-absorbing effect of the body filling compared to the values that can be achieved with the known constructions. This is achieved in that in a panel of the type mentioned at the outset, according to the invention, the insulating panel loosely arranged within the frame is supported against both cover sheets by webs forming a honeycomb structure.
Surprisingly, this measure makes it possible to achieve a significantly higher sound-absorbing effect than was possible with the previously known constructions. In addition, the production of the plate according to the invention, which can also be used for purposes other than doors, e.g. B. for partition walls, can be carried out with simple means and little work.
Further details are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which an exemplary embodiment of the plate according to the invention is shown in longitudinal section.
EMI1.2
Honeycomb construction takes place, a surprisingly high level of sound insulation is achieved.
The thickness of the webs supporting the insulating panel-3-against the cover sheets -5- depends on the height of the space between the cover sheets -5- and the insulating board 3-as well as the type of arrangement of these webs and is at most 2 mm, but preferably 0.3 to 0.8 mm.
The cover sheets - 5 - can be made of any material, e.g. B. plastic or wood, made and glued to the strips of the frame - 2 -. Likewise, the insulating plate can be made of any sound-absorbing material, e.g. B. made of plastic.
