Laying or replacing the conductor ropes of overhead line networks is extremely labor-intensive and requires a considerable amount of personnel, since up to now the removal of the new conductor ropes or the reeling of the old, replaced conductor ropes had to be done by hand, at least in rough terrain.
Known devices for laying overhead lines, which consist of a drivable rope reel,
There are rope guiding devices and an assembly crane, especially in poor ground conditions and in built-up areas, because they, due to their large size
Construction effort and the stationary engine required for the drive must be built on heavy vehicles, be it directly on a truck or on your own two-axle trailer. In addition, these devices are quite expensive, their handling awkward and their use on smaller construction sites completely unprofitable.
The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a cable reel which makes it much easier to replace the conductor cables of overhead line networks, which can be used in practically any terrain, which is simple and cheap to manufacture and whose handling does not involve any difficulties.
The invention solves this problem essentially in that the frame of the cable reel is provided with three fastening points for coupling to the hydraulic lifting device of a tractor, that a drive device for the reel that can be connected to the PTO shaft of the tractor and that can be driven via a switchable coupling and a holding device for a drivable cable drum are also provided. Since the cable reel according to the invention can be picked up by the lifting device of a conventional tractor and driven by its power take-off shaft, it can be used wherever a tractor can also be used.
Due to the known maneuverability and cross-country mobility of such a tractor, the reel can therefore be brought to practically any construction site, where it is easy to use due to its simple and light construction. It also offers the advantage that, in addition to the actual reel, a standard cable drum can be attached and driven, with which replaced, still usable conductor cables can be wound up and made usable again. If a conductor cable is to be replaced with the aid of the cable reel according to the invention, the old cable that has been laid is first untied and placed in appropriate assembly cable pulleys.
Then the two-sided anchoring points are loosened, one end of the old rope is connected to the prepared new conductor rope wound on a rope drum with a rope sock and the other end is attached to the reel. Now the old cable can be reeled up quickly and easily with the clock drive over the reel and at the same time the new conductor cable can be pulled up. After pulling up the new rope, all you have to do is set the tensioning clamps and tension the rope. If the conductor cable to be replaced is still good enough, it is wound onto the additional cable drum instead of the reel. When using the cable reel according to the invention, neither the old nor the new conductor cable comes into contact with the ground and there are no old conductor cables lying around.
There is no soiling or damage to the ropes on the one hand or the corridors, trees, roofs, etc. on the other. The cable reel allows effortless, clean and material-friendly work.

The conductor cable can still be tied together on the reel and, after removing the outer flange, simply removed from the reel, which may still have a conical bottom.
It is particularly favorable if, according to the invention, the reel is driven via a manually switchable cone clutch which comprises a slide bearing for the outer clutch disc, on the circumference of which a band brake is attached. The cone coupling allows the reel to start up smoothly and smoothly and the band brake allows the device to be stopped at any time, so that on the one hand the cone coupling slips if the tensile load is too great and on the other hand it is possible to react immediately to breakdowns or difficulties, which reduces the risk of danger and damage to a minimum are.
In order to have a simple and good drive available for the use of the cable drum and to be able to compensate for the dimensional inaccuracies of the cable drums usually made of wood, according to a further development of the invention for driving a cable drum, a drive plate attached to a universal joint is adjustable with two attached driver arms to which the cable drum can be screwed.
For quick and easy attachment of the cable drum itself, according to the invention, the holding device for the cable drum attached to the frame is provided with a quick-release fastener, which is fixed by a locking bolt.
In the drawings, the subject of the invention is shown schematically in an embodiment, u. Fig. 1 shows a cable reel according to the invention in plan view, Fig. 2 shows a quick-release fastener for the reel flange in longitudinal section, Fig. 3 shows a section along the line IU-In in Fig. 1, Fig. 4 the support bearing for the cable drum facing away from the drive in partial section, FIG. 5 shows a section along the line VV of FIG. 1 and FIGS. 6 and 7 the driver device for the cable drum in axial section or in front view, different scales being selected for the individual representations.

Angular gear --4-- running in an oil bath can be driven. The angular gear is connected via a chain drive representing a reduction stage --5-- with the outer clutch disc --6-- a switchable cone clutch, the inner part - 7 - of which sits non-rotatably on the drive shaft - 8 - which is attached to the PTO of a tractor can be connected. The outer clutch disc - 6 -, which with the plain bearing - 9 - is freely rotatable on the drive shaft - 8 -, also serves as the brake disc of a band brake - 10 -.
A spring-loaded hand lever - 11-- is provided to operate this band brake --10-- and the likewise spring-loaded hand lever --12-- is provided for switching the clutch.
The frame - l - of the cable reel has three attachment points --13 - for attaching it to the hydraulic lifting device of a tractor and has appropriate standing areas - 14 - for an operator who can conveniently use the operating lever - 11 from here and 12 - and has both the cable reel or cable drum and the cable guide well in view.

The guide tube - 33 - can be connected on the one hand to the universal joint shaft - 25 - and on the other hand is supported by a bearing - 36 - of the support arm --35--. As can be seen from Fig. 3, the quick-release fastener --34-- consists of a connection tube --37-- of the support arm --35--, which can be plugged onto a connecting pin --38-- of the frame and with the locking pin --39-- is fixable.
At the end of the connecting pipe -37- there is a flange -40- which comes to rest with a corresponding flange -41- of the frame -1- and is fastened to this via connecting screws -42. This results in an easily detachable, but stable connection between the holding device-32 - for the cable drum - 3 - and the frame - l-for the cable reel-2-.
The rope reel according to the invention is characterized above all by its low weight, its simple construction, its clear and safe handling and its practical applicability. Due to the possibility of connection to a tractor hoist or to the PTO shaft of a tractor, it can be used in almost any terrain and it allows effortless and quick work without the risk of damage and contamination.
