  Method of making facing bricks.

The subject matter of the present invention is a process for the production of facing bricks which have rough surfaces similar to sandstone on one or more of their outer surfaces. The production of such Yerblendsteine takes place in such a way that on one surface or on several surfaces of the stones, which as

Although this mass is known per se and has already been used for the production of porous objects, the invention here lies in the fact that this mass is in the

**WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**. PATENT CLAIM An ancestor for the production of facing stone, characterized in that on one or more roofs of the shaped stones, which are to be used as facing surfaces, a mass consisting of combustible and non-combustible materials is applied and pressed and then the stones are burned, the applied material partly , binding itself firmly to the stone and remaining unburned on the stone surfaces treated in this way, forms protrusions, sometimes burning, leaving depressions behind on these stone niches, so that rough surfaces similar to sandstone arise. ** WARNING ** End of CLMS field may overlap beginning of DESC **.
