Während des Behandlungsvorganges läuft die Trommel in Richtung des Pfeiles--6a--um und zum Auswerfen des Gutes aus der Trommel wird diese in Richtung des Pfeiles--6b--gedreht. Die Drehzahl der Trommel ist verhältnismässig gering ; sie beträgt zwei bis sechs Umdrehungen pro Minute.
