Auf der das Flügelrad c tragenden Welle y ist eine Kupplung z, z1 angeordnet, deren eine Hälfte z längs eines Gleitkeiles auf der Welle verschoben werden kann, während die andere lose auf der Welle sitzende Hälfte mit dem Kettenrad 2 verbunden ist. Wenn diese beiden Kupplungshälften z, z1 miteinander in Eingriff stehen, wird die Bewegung des Kettenrades 4 mittels Kette 3 und Kettenrad 2 auf die Welle y und somit auf das Flügelrad c übertragen, das in der Richtung des Pfeiles d langsam angetrieben wird (Fig. 2).
Der raschere Antrieb des Flügelrades c in der Richtung des Pfeiles A wird mittels der lose auf der Welle y sitzenden Riemenscheibe 5 bewirkt. Mit dieser ist eine Kupplungshälfte z3 ver- bunden, deren zugehörige zweite Kupplungshälfte zllängs eines Gleitkeiles auf der Welle y verschoben werden kann.
