Evaporative carburator for explosion engines.
The subject of the invention is an evaporative carburator for explosion engines with perforated resistors built into the airway, sprinkled with fuel, and represents a perfecting of the carburator according to patent no. 3! 29t.
According to the invention, as in the parent patent, resistance elements are used intermittently and these elements are attached at suitable angles to the direction of flow of the air, so that the latter is forced to form colliding currents and eddies which spray the fuel into fine carburic mist and make it more suitable for enriching the air. By means of such devices are all

In practice, the width of the slot openings z will not expediently be exceeded
EMI1.2
consists in the fact that the sum of the cross-sections of the air ducts must not be greater or \ if) greater than the cross-section of the intake line of the engine or the mixture inlet valve or must have a certain ratio to it.
In the drawing, the slots are drawn larger for the sake of graphic representation and clarity than they may actually be made. What the

can easily drip through and moisten the hole walls. The angle of inclination of the plates should be selected so that the fuel flows off slowly and wets the surfaces between the perforations well.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4-6, the individual plates run. s

Nozzles in a fine spray over the plates, or the air flow passing through the plates can suck in the carburizing liquid from the side chamber and spread it over the plates.
The carburization of the air takes place in such a way that the strongly sucked in or pressed air flow penetrates into the intermediate spaces z, there as a result of the inclination

partially hits the holes, flows through them and meets the air flow in the next space, which creates short and intense eddies, as the arrows y indicate. The result of this clash of the differently directed air currents and air vortices is a complete tearing of the fuel liquid into the finest mist, with which the air is enriched very homogeneously. This complete and fine atomization makes it possible to atomize even heavy hydrocarbons.
