Als solche Mittel kamen bisher insbesonderer unterschwefligsaures Natron, unterschwefligsaures Eisen und Schwefelsäure in EMI1.2 Nach vorliegender Erfindung sollen diese Stoffe durch ein Abfallprodukt ersetzt werden, u. zw. durch die Wässer, welche zum Niederschlagen der beim Rösten von Schwefel- erzen gebildeten (rase benutzt wurden. Diese Wässer werden mit dem Quecksilber in den EMI1.3 entweder dem Erzbrei während des Pochens oder zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt zugesetzt werden.
