The invention relates to a plug with a connection cable for electrical devices such as dry shavers, irons, immersion heaters or the like, with a device arranged in the plug housing for rolling up the connection cable.
A plug with a connection cable for electrical devices has already become known, in which the plug-side end of the connection cable, which can be rolled up by means of a device arranged in the plug housing, is connected to the plug contact pins via sliding contacts.
The aim of the invention is to create a plug with a connection cable which enables the connection cable to be reeled by hand with simple means and which also has a shape for the plug to be manufactured economically. To solve this problem, a plug is proposed which, according to the invention, is designed in such a way that the plug housing consists of an approximately box-shaped cover part and a base plate that closes the cover part on the bottom side and rotates around its center point has a winding core for the connection cable that is firmly connected to the base plate, one end of which is connected to the plug contact pins,
while the other end of the cable is led out through an opening in the side wall of the cover part and carries a device connection plug or the like, the cover part being rotatably attached to the winding core for the connection cable.
In this embodiment of the invention, the connection cable is wound up by rotating the base plate around the cover part in such a way that the cover part is held with one hand while the base plate is rotated with the other hand, the cable being wound up. The cable is pulled off in a similar way: the cover part, which is the actual housing for the winding device, is held with one hand, while the base plate with the winding core forms the winding device, while the cable is pulled out of the housing-like cover part with the other hand . Because the winding core is firmly connected to the base plate and this again carries the plug contact pins, the cable, which has been pulled out in sections, is locked every time the plug is inserted into a socket.
If the plug is plugged into a socket, the base plate cannot rotate when the cable is removed because the base plate is fixed. An additional locking device is therefore not required.
The plug contact pins are arranged on the base plate in the plane formed by it, so that a small, attractive design is obtained.
In the drawings, the object of the invention is shown, for example, u. Between: Fig. 1 shows the connector consisting of a base plate and a housing-shaped cover part with a cable winder in a side view, Fig. 2 shows the connector in a view from above, Fig. 3 shows the connector with the cover part removed in a view from above and 4 the plug without the cover part in a side view.
In the preferred embodiment of the connector designed according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a connector housing is denoted by - 10 - which consists of a box-shaped cover part - 50 - and a base plate - 51 - which forms the housing-shaped cover part - -50-- locked at the bottom.
The circumferential side wall of the cover part - 50 - is designated - 50a - and the upper wall section opposite the base plate is designated - 50b.

is possible. The bottom part - 51 - can additionally be provided with a guide profile in the area of the circumferential edge of the cover part - 50.
The circumferential edge of the base plate - 51 - is preferably lengthened in sections with respect to the circumference of the cover part - 50 - and provided with a grooved profile - 56 - as a grip profile, so that slipping from the base part is avoided during the winding process (Fig . 1).
The invention is not restricted to the embodiments described above and shown in the drawings. Deviations in the shape and design of the cover part and the housing plate as well as the winding core are within the scope of the invention. The cover part and the base plate are preferably made of plastics or other suitable materials.
