Abstract
A cement-bound building material contains recycled fired clay in the form of brick sand and brick chippings as an aggregate, which was extracted and classified from structural waste after sorting and screening. The composition comprises approximately 15% by weight of cement binder including concrete plasticizer and approximately 85% by weight of brick sand and brick chippings, including foreign residual mass constituents, which can total approximately 10% by weight based on the total weight. Brick sand and chippings are in grain groups from 0/4 mm to about 20% by weight, from 4/8 mm to 15% by weight, from 8/16 mm to 25% by weight, from 16/32 mm to 25 % By weight and cement with a grain size of 0-0.06 mm to 15% by weight, including concrete plasticizer.
