Bulkhead superheater, in particular the final superheater of a two-drum boiler
The invention relates to a bulkhead superheater, in particular an end superheater of a two-drum boiler, in which the outer coils are better cooled than the inner ones.

There are known bulkhead superheaters with meandering curved heating surfaces that are wound straight forward.

With bulkhead superheaters of this type, the problem arises that individual pipe coils, in particular those facing the combustion chamber, rapidly scale up and thus become unusable. This occurs in particular when the bulkhead superheater is connected as a final superheater.

For thermal considerations, it is very desirable to design the bulkhead superheater as an end superheater, since this way the end superheater requires the least amount of pipe material.

Furthermore, a bulkhead superheater design has become known in which the first row of tubes in the direction of the flame core has at least one less turn than the other tubes of the superheater. This construction causes an uneven distribution of quantities in the individual superheater pipes of a bulkhead connected in parallel, so that pipe damage occurs due to insufficient cooling, especially in the partial load range of the boiler.

The invention avoids the mentioned disadvantage and is characterized in that the pipe coils, which are formed from one or more parallel pipe strings lying in one plane, starting from an inlet header, enclose the outlet end of the bulkhead superheater in a progressively meandering shape from the outside inwards and that the Pipes leading to the outlet header are arranged approximately in the middle of the heating surface of the bulkhead superheater. According to a further feature of the invention, a protective heating surface is provided around the bulkhead superheater, which is designed as an end superheater and which is connected to the collecting chambers, which is connected to the steam space of the boiler drum and which opens into the superheater.

The coiled tubes of the bulkhead superheater facing the combustion chamber are advantageously traversed by saturated steam.

The invention has the particular advantage that the same amount of cooling medium flows through all parts of the bulkhead superheater of a bulkhead, so that pipe damage due to insufficient flow in the control range of the steam boiler is avoided.

The invention is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 by way of example and schematically. Fig. 1 shows a section through the combustion chamber of a two-drum steam boiler with a bulkhead superheater. Fig. 2 shows a similar construction with a bulkhead superheater and a protective heating surface.

In Fig. 1, the combustion chamber of a two-drum steam boiler is shown in section. In this boiler construction, the combustion chamber is lined with evaporator tubes-1-which extend from a lower collecting chamber -13- and open into the steam drum-2. The
