Hohlprofilrahmen

Hollow profile frame
The invention relates to a hollow profile frame for receiving panes, plates or the like, in which hollow projections formed from the material of the profile are arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction of the profile, at least one of which is provided with an outwardly directed longitudinal slot.
In a known frame of this type, the hollow projections are used to receive
Hinge bolts and gear rods or, provided the cavities are open to the outside, for
Acceptance of seals.
The invention has set itself the goal of creating a frame of the type mentioned, which can be composed of several profiles in a simple and safe manner.
This is achieved according to the invention in that in the outwardly directed longitudinal slot essentially L-shaped, preferably made of plastic clips can be inserted, which protrude with lugs into the cavity of the projection and hold an additional profile on an undercut of the same with outer tabs, whereby the clips engage in pairs back to back in the longitudinal slot.
The invention enables a secure connection of the profiles even under the heaviest loads, whereby the clips can be inserted into the longitudinal slot in such a way that initially one clip pointing with its outer tab to one side and then one clip pointing to the other side is inserted one below the other and such a pair is then pushed on top of one another lying back to back with elastic deformation at the point at which it is to remain during the assembly of the additional strip.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawings, without, however, exhausting the invention. The figures show: FIG. 1 a cross section through a door frame and door frame; FIGS. 2 and 3 show, on a larger scale, the insertion and the clamping position of the clips according to the invention for an additional strip; FIG. 4 shows a corresponding floor plan to FIG. 3.
A substantially T-shaped, preferably made of light metal z. B. frame profile-l-produced by the extrusion process is used in the example according to FIG. 1 both as a door frame --A-- and as a door frame - B -. On the narrow sides - 7a - of the T-cross piece - projections --2-- are arranged on the inside, which enclose a cylindrical cavity - 3-- and are provided with a longitudinal slot - 4--, which is directed towards the inside of the profile are. On the narrow side-6-of the foot-5-another, inwardly protruding projection -8- is provided, the longitudinal slot-9-of which is directed towards the outside of the profile.
The door frame profile is attached to the wall 11 with a fastening profile 10. A cover profile -12- is on the narrow side by means of brackets -13- which engage in the cavity of the projection -8- and which engage in undercuts -14- of the cladding profile -12- with their tabs --6-- attached. The clips --13-- lie with their noses --16-- inside the cavity of the protrusion --8-- and are advantageously at the same time with stepped projections -17- on the outside of the profile.
When assembling

the brackets - 13 - individually and one above the other (Fig. 2) inserted into the cavity of the projection - 8 - to then be brought into a position by mutual displacement (Fig. 3) in which they with their back surfaces - 18-- lie next to each other.
The brackets --13 - are then under elastic pretension with their back surfaces

and 30 - on the sealing strip - 23 - and the additional profile - 12 - held.
The door frame profile - B - is essentially the same as the door frame profile - A--. A disc-32-is embedded in the cement bed-31-arranged in the angle between the cross-piece -7- and the foot -5- and through sealing strips-33-, which are attached to the projections-25-of the profile-1-and a cladding profile-34-sit, sealed.
The additional profile - 34 - is in this case again held in place by the noses - 20 - engaging behind and anchored in undercuts --22-- springs --19-- or by the glazing strips - 28--, but could in the same way as the additional profile - 12 - attached to the door frame - A - with brackets - 13 - provided that the additional profile - 34 - has corresponding undercuts - 14 - like the additional profile-- 12--. The door hinge - 35 - is connected to another sealing strip --36-- which is designed similarly to the sealing strip - 23 - and is also fastened in an analogous manner.
The corner connection in a frame according to the invention takes place in such a way that the frame parts to be connected are placed at right angles to each other and one profile is drilled in the direction of the axes of the cavities --3-- of the other profile. It is then useful to insert self-tapping screws into these holes and screw them into the cavities --3--.
