   In vorliegender Einrichtung wird ein Arbeiten der Elektroden unter   Luftabschluss,   u.   zw.   dadurch herbeigeführt, dass die elektroden a, b, welche mit einer Stromquelle in Verbindung stehen, durch isolierende Gefässe c, d voneinander elektrisch getrennt werden können, so dass kein Stromdurchgang erfolgen kann, solange die Elektroden in den Gefässen sich befinden. 



   Diese Trennung wird erreicht, indem die Öffnungen der Gefässe durch die Hauben e, f, welche mit Öl oder einer anderen geeigneten Flüssigkeit gefüllt sind, abgedichtet werden. 



  Mit den Hauben sind die Elektroden a, b fest verbunden.
