  Reibeisen.

  Grater.

The present invention relates to a grater in which the friction plate is brought into connection with the bracket by hemming. While in the known grater of this type the bilge folded at the edges! assumes upright position, according to the present invention, the folds are pressed flat in the plane of the edge of the friction plate. In this way, not only does the friction plate get a firmer hold in the edge, but this arrangement also enables the lower
 EMI1.1
and then gets such a firm and secure hold that the connection web can also be arranged in the bracket legs without riveting and soldering.

For the essence of the present innovation, it is of course irrelevant whether one or two such connecting bars are used for the grater.

Fig. 1 of the drawing illustrates a grater of the new type seen from below, the roughening of the friction plate is only indicated in the upper corner, Fig. Is a section along the line. snif of FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale, while FIG. 3 shows the previously known type of connection between the friction plate and the bracket.

While previously the folded legs of the bracket were in an upright position, so that only the narrow outer edge of the sheet inserted into the single fold creates the connection between the friction plate and bracket, according to the present invention, the folds of the bracket legs d, as in Fig. 2 of the drawing illustrates, according to the plane of

becomes. Furthermore, however, the folded folds grant the connecting webs e a firm and secure hold as soon as they are inserted into the lower folds f of the bracket legs
