Arrangement for fastening foil spools
The invention relates to an arrangement for the axial attachment of a spiral wound from foil or tape material coil, the channels, z. B. has cooling channels which are formed by inserting profiled insulating material webs.
The axial fastening of coils wound from foil, in particular relatively large coils, is difficult because the end face of the coil cannot be subjected to pressure with regard to the thin foils. In order to avoid the direct action of the spacing means on the foil edges, it is known to encapsulate the end faces of the foil winding with synthetic resin or lacquer. This creates a surface on which the pressing means can act. The casting process, however, is complex, especially since cleaning of the areas to be cast and subsequent neutralization is provided. Furthermore, the coils must be subjected to a vacuum process before casting in order to free them from harmful water and air inclusions.
It is also known to keep the insulating film to be wrapped between the conductor film wider than the conductor film and to fold it before the winding process. After the wrapping process, the insulating film is ironed over to create a firm support. The disadvantage here is that the conductor foil can be deformed when it is ironed on and that winding shorts occur as a result. It has also already been considered to wrap an insulating strip at the edges of the conductor foil up to the width of the insulating foil. However, this coil structure has the disadvantage that the narrow drain can fall out.
It has also become known to use rods as spacers to form a cooling channel, which, however, do not serve to support the winding on the core or to fasten the coils, because the forces that occur cannot be transmitted by simple spacer rods. Either the spacer bars are pushed out under the influence of the weight or the foil in the area of the spacer bars is destroyed.
The invention aims to eliminate the deficiencies mentioned.
It is based on the task of creating an axial fastening of film coils in which there is no risk of damaging the film edges, without additional effort being required.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the profiled insulating material webs protrude on both sides from the coil end faces and interact with spacer elements which are known per se and which are arranged outside the coil. If the coil consists of several part-coils arranged next to one another, the profiled insulating material web protrudes from the part-coils on both sides.
If winding is carried out over the entire length of the spool, the profiled strip of insulating material protrudes from the last part of the spool. Advantageously, only one insulating film is introduced into the sub-coils that are wound at the same time, with an insulating shim being wound between the conductor film.
