and its connection point on the fitting housing, largely in section, and FIGS. 2 to 4 sectional views of the area of the connection point of the ignition gas pipe on the fitting housing with various arrangements of the choke according to the invention.
In Fig. 1 a pilot burner is shown, which consists of an arcuate ignition tube -10- which is bent vertically in a horizontal direction and from whose outlet opening-101- a wire helix -1- anchored in the ignition tube -10- protrudes. The vertically directed other end of the ignition tube --10-- is anchored in a mixing tube --12-- in which an ignition nozzle

by means of - against the inner wall of the through channel --121-- of the mixing tube --12--. The end of a gas supply pipe --16-- is also inserted into the clamp holder --14--, which is also connected gas-tight to the mixing pipe --12-- by tightening the pipe screw --15--.
On the mixing tube --12-- there are radial air intake openings --17-- just behind the ignition nozzle in the direction of flow, so that behind these openings a gas-air mixture in the through-channel --121-- of the mixing tube --12 - is formed. The pilot burner is connected to the gas valve of the device via the gas supply pipe --16--. The other end of the gas supply pipe - 16 - is fastened via a pipe screw - 18 - with an inserted sealing ring - 19 - in an outlet opening of an ignition gas channel - 20 - in an attachment 21 of the housing of the gas valve. According to the invention, a fixed throttle --22-- is inserted, preferably pressed in, inside the gas supply pipe --16-- at its end protruding into the pipe screw --18--.
The choke -22- has the shape of a bowl and has a central,

In FIGS. 2 to 4, in which the same parts are each designated with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1, different arrangements of the similarly designed choke 22 are shown. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the choke is located in the ignition gas channel --20-- of the fitting housing attachment - 21 - directly in front of the connection point of the ignition gas pipe - -16--.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, on the other hand, the choke - 22 - is arranged inside the pipe screw - 18 -, that is, between the end of the ignition gas channel - 20 - and the associated end of the gas supply pipe - 16 -.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 4, a rotating part --23-- is inserted into the outlet opening of the ignition gas channel - 20 - in the fitting housing attachment --21-- and by means of the pipe screw --18-- and a pipe clamp holder --24-- for the end of the gas supply pipe-16-held.
The choke --2-- is pressed into this rotating part --23--. This embodiment has the advantage that the rotating part --23-- with the pre-throttle --22-- can be exchanged at any time.
However, such an exchange is generally not necessary.
EMI2.3
Cross-section is preferably smaller than the cross-section of the ignition nozzle-13-in the pilot burner. The cross-section is designed so that the choke --22-- can be used for all common types of gas. The amount of ignition gas is therefore fixed by the throttle --22--.
The setting of the pilot burner with a view to stable flame formation in adaptation to the different types of gas with their different calorific values is effected by a corresponding selection of the exchangeable ignition nozzle - 13 - the dimensions of which correspond to the gas inlet speed specified by the fixed throttle and the connection pressure of the gas used must be adjusted so that there is no excessive primary air intake in the mixing tube. When switching to a different type of gas, only the ignition nozzle - 13 - needs to be replaced.
