Fangriemen
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 5).

illustrate the normal operating condition. During the safety opening only the elastic body - 3 - expands (see Fig. 5). Here, too, the spring travel and / or the spring force is relatively small. The spring travel of this body --3-- is limited by the inelastic belt --1--, which itself is so resistant that it cannot tear under normal conditions. There is therefore a limited elasticity for this construction.
EMI2.1
opening is stretched and then automatically returns to the position shown.
According to Fig. 8, the elastic body --3-- is plate-shaped. The spring travel is kept small here in a simple way.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 9, the belt --1-- at --11-- is attached to an elastic body --3- (glued or the like). According to Fig. 10, the lanyard or the lanyard-l-is folded several times in area-3--. With a heavy load, the folds open, after stopping the load, the folded state automatically occurs again. The materials used for these constructions are rubber and elastic plastics. resilient metal parts or combinations of these and impregnated straps or cords in question.
The invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiments shown. Of course, the lanyard can be arranged at any suitable point on the ski binding or the ski. Depending on requirements, a belt with a roughly rectangular cross section or a more or less round cord can be used.
PATENT CLAIMS:
EMI2.2
Returning the strap from its stretched position (when loosening the boot from the ski) into its normal position of use (when the boot is connected to the ski), elastic return means with small return forces and / or return paths are provided in order to prevent the ski from being thrown back in the event of a fall Avoid, the belt (or the cord) is practically inelastic in itself and the elastic return means keep the belt shortened in its normal position of use.
