Überhitzer mit vorgeschaltetem Kühlraum für Lokomobil-, Lokomotiv-u. dgl. Kessel.
Don Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein ausserhalb des Lokomotivkessets angeordneter Überhitzer. Derselbe ist an beliebiger Stelle des Lokomobil-, Lokomotiv- u. dgl. Kessels angeordnet und wird von einer beliebigen Feuerung unmittelbar dadurch geheizt, dass die Feucrgase dif Heizrohren des Überhitzers durch-bezw. umströmen. Um diese Feuergase auf die für die Üborhitzung erforderliche Temperatur abzukühlen, ist vor dem Überhitzer ein Abkühlraum vorgeschaltet, der durch umlaufendes Wasser entsprechend abgekühlt wird und somit die Feuprgase der Überhitzerfeuerung. auf die gewünschte Temperatur abkühlt.
Der Abkühlraum ist zu dem Zwecke mit Wasserein ! anf und Wasserauslanf versehen.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht in Fig. 1 und 2 ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung.
Der Überhitzerraum a liegt ausserhalb des Lokomobil-, Lokomotiv-oder dgl. Kessels und wird von einer beliebig angeordneten Feuerung b beheizt, deren Feuergase die Heizröhren c durch-bezw. umziehen. Vor dem Überhitzer a liegt der Abkühlraum d, den die Feuergase der Überhitzungsfeuerung zunächst durchziehen müssen, bevor sie in oder um die Heizrohre c eintreten.
