   Fig. 2 zeigt die Befestigung eines Königstockes in einem mit dem   Fundament   fest   verankerten gusseisernen   oder schmiedeeisernen Stern. It dieser Konstruktion wirken infolge des Kippmomentes Zug- und Druckkräfte auf das Fundament ein. Um diese auf das Fundament wirkenden Kräfte zn vermeiden, ging man bei kleinen Kranen schon dazu   über, den   Stern so gross auszubilden, dass keine Zugkriifte im Fundament auftraten.   In   diesen   Fällen   wurde aber stets ein schmiedeeiserner Königstock in einen Fnndamentstern eingesetzt. 



   Die vorliegende Erfindnng bezweckt nun, alle   Zugkräfte auf   das Fundament zu vermeiden, und zwar ohne Anwendung eines   Fundamentsternes.   Zu diesem Zwecke wurde der   Konigstock   bezw. die feststehende Mittelsäule aus einer Eisenkonstruktion hergestellt, deren untere Basis so gross gehalten ist, dass nur Druckkräfte und keine Zuglrräfte auf das

   Fig. 2 shows the attachment of a king stick in a cast iron or wrought iron star firmly anchored to the foundation. With this construction, tensile and compressive forces act on the foundation as a result of the tilting moment. In order to avoid these forces acting on the foundation, in the case of small cranes one went over to making the star so large that no tensile forces occurred in the foundation. In these cases, however, a wrought-iron king stick was always inserted into a foundation star.
