   Die feine Unterteilung der Tonmasse während des Erhitzens durch ihren erzwungenenDurchgang durch das Innere der Rohre ergibt den weiteren Vorteil, dass die Tonmasse beim Durchgang durch die Austrittskammer leicht und ohne besondere Vorrichtung entgast werden kann, indem einfach eine Saug- oder Vakuumleitung an diese Kammer angeschlossen wird. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist   es, dass   sich durch die Erhitzung der Tonmasse aus dem in ihr enthaltenden Wasser Dampf bildet, ohne d ass solcher von aussen zugeführt zu wer-   denbraucht und ohne dass er aus dem geschlossenen System ungewollt entweichen kann. Dieser Dampf verteilt    sich gleichmässig in der ganzen eingeschlossenen Masse und bewirkt eine Vergleichmässigung des Feuchtigkeitsgehaltes und damit der Plastizität derselben.

   Es kann kein ungewollter Austritt von Dampf und dadurch keine ungewollte Austrocknung der Masse erfolgen. Anderseits kann man durch Entweichenlassen oder Absaugen von Dampf den Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der Masse in gewünschtem Masse herabsetzen. 



   Die Vorrichtung gemäss der Erfindung kann in die Aufbereitungsstufen des tonigen Materials vor der Verpressung an verschiedenen Stellen eingebaut werden, nämlich entweder nach dem Misch-Knet-Vorgang der Masse am Ende eines entsprechend ausgebildeten Doppelwellenmischers, aus dem die Masse unter Druck austritt, oder in einer normalen Vakuumstrangpresse, wobei die Masse unter Schwerkraftwirkung durch   dieEntgasungskammer fällt. vor derVakuumstufe. d. h.   zwischen dem   ähnlich einem   Doppelwellenmischer ausgebildeten Beschickungsteil und der Vakuumkammer, oder schliesslich im Pressschneckenteil der Strangpresse.
