Sparkling wine stopper impermeable to carbon dioxide.
Until now, one had to use one-piece stoppers for sparkling wines that were not sufficiently resistant to the influence of the carbonic acid, which rather let through them, so that the resulting so-called recouleuso is a constant complaint of all sparkling wine factories and causes great damage to the latter.
Yes, it is calculated that a maximum of 100/0 of all corks used offer the unconditional guarantee that they will remain completely resistant enough for years to come.
The recouleuse can only be seen on the sides, mainly on the part of the cord that comes from the outside of the cork, the so-called weather side, while the inside (tree side) is slightly better. For this reason, attempts have already been made to produce a durable cork by completely separating the tree side from the weather side and then gluing the two better pieces obtained in this way together. But even these corks did not meet the cherished expectations, rather they had the same defects as the cords consisting of only one piece.
The present invention is based on the following consideration:
The lower resistance of the bark stems only from the sides, consequently

"Pur blanc" is known. The slices can consist of "cross-section".
But since one can use even the thinnest "pure blanc wood" for the little slice, one is no longer dependent solely on the thick wood, which is only found in relatively small quantities.
The upper part of the cork, i.e. i. the part that should protrude from the bottle can be covered in one piece with a cork tip to prevent that

wise separation can be. It is precisely this deficiency that is particularly evident in the case of corks that are on the market and are made from two pieces of glue.
If the cork with the cover plate is inserted into the neck of the bottle with the good cork plate facing downwards (base plate), the carbon dioxide cannot escape, even if the cork is made of less cork wood.
EMI1.3
The cork produced in this way not only has the same, @@@ thorn also the greatest resistance on all its sides and therefore completely excludes the bottle from leaking (recoulcuso).

In embodiments of the invention, both a cover plate or a base plate or both made of good cork wood can be added. The figures show
