Vor allem in letzter Zeit ist man bestrebt, neue Zierpflanzenanordnungen zu schaffen, die sich meist durch einen oder mehrere, häufig knorrige Stämme und entsprechende Triebe aus diesen Stämmen auszeichnen. Ein klassisches Beispiel für eine derartige Anordnung ist der japanische Bonsai, der sich zwar immer größerer Beliebtheit erfreut, bis zur Ausstellungsreife, also der Verwendung in einem Aufenthaltsraum usw., aber sehr lange Zeiträume benötigt, die oft in der Größenordnung von Jahren, ja sogar Jahrzehnten liegen. Überdies benötigen diese Zierpflanzen sowohl während der Aufzucht als auch während der Ausstellung eine Dauerpflege, wobei u.a. nicht nur eine regelmäßige richtige Bewässerung, sondern auch ein gezielter Rückschnitt der ober- und unterirdischen Pflanzenteile sowie häufig Bindungen dieser Pflanzenteile notwendig werden, um das gewünschte Aussehen zu erzielen und zu erhalten. Die Pflege derartiger Zierpflanzen ist daher, von Ausnahmen bei unempfindlichen und an sich triebfreudigen Pflanzen abgesehen, mehr oder weniger dem Fachmann oder einer Person Vorbehalten, die sich mit großem Aufwand und großer Sachkenntnis der Pflanzenpflege widmet, wenn keine Rückschläge auftreten 2 AT 002 450 Ul sollen, die bei den wegen der langen Aufzucht und Pflege sehr teuren Pflanzen besonders ins Gewicht fallen. Ein entscheidender Vorteil der Erfindung besteht darin, daß sowohl die die Stammstümpfe liefernden Holzgewächse als auch die Zierpflanzen in ihren Behältern gesondert und völlig unabhängig voneinander vorgetrieben und dann nach der jeweiligen Geschmacks- 3 AT 002 450 Ul richtung zusammengesetzt werden können. Ene entsprechende Bewässerungsart ist vor allem bei relativ großen Zierpflanzenanordnungen vorteilhaft. Nach den Fig. 1 und 2 besteht die Zierpflanzenanordnung aus einem Pflanzenbehälter 1, in dem ein Stammstumpf 2 eines lebenden Holzgewächses wurzelt, wobei dieses lebende Holzgewächs erst kurz vor dem Aufsetzen der Zierpflanzen auf die Stumpfhöhe abgeschnitten wird.
