Sulphate-containing, quick-setting spray mortar and process for its manufacture
The invention relates to a sulphate-containing, quick-setting cement mortar which is particularly suitable as a spray mortar in tunnel construction. Compositions made from Portland cement, additives such as trass or Torkret aid, and sand or gravel as fillers have already been proposed for such spray mortars. It is also known to keep cement levels low to prevent shrinkage and swelling. However, these spray mortars have the disadvantage that the fillers, such as sand or gravel, do not actively influence the chemical and mechanical properties of the cement and those of the concrete body.
The invention, which aims to avoid this disadvantage, consists essentially in the fact that the binding agent of the mortar consists of 90-95% by weight Portland cement, preferably C. A-free. and from 5-10% by weight of an accelerator, e.g. B. Alumina cement consists. The aggregate used for mortar preparation consists of crushed anhydrite (CaS04) with a suitable grading curve. The components of the binder should have a low iron content.
The binding agent of the spray mortar according to the invention causes a reaction with the water on the surfaces of the anhydrite grains, which creates a double cementing effect. In this way, a firm and intensive chemical and physical bond occurs between the filler and the binding agent, whereby the mechanical and chemical properties of the concrete body are particularly advantageously influenced. With a composition of a spray mortar according to the invention, with a cement content of less than 200 kg / m3, mechanical properties equivalent to those achieved with the already known spray mortar composition consisting of 400 kg of cement per mis and sand as an aggregate are achieved. According to the method according to the invention, the high-alumina cement is added immediately before or during processing of the mortar.
