Wicklungen aufgebauten Paket

<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Device for unwinding a yarn from one
Windings built up package
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
In FIG. 1, 1 denotes a lap carrier or package carrier and 2 denotes a sleeve made of a permeable material, in particular made of textile material, which surrounds the lap 3. This winding 3 consists of a multiplicity of fiber strand windings 4 lying next to one another and one above the other, which are covered against one another by a band 5 of permeable material. After completion of the roll, the sleeve 2 is placed around the roll so that the finished package has the shape shown in FIG. 1. After the crimp has been fixed, the fiber strand 4 that is present in the lap and covered by the band 5 must be separated from the band 5 again. This is done with the device shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. For the purpose of unwinding, the lap carrier 1 is placed on a spindle 70.
During unwinding, the roll is braked by a friction disk 71. The tape 5 is pulled from the reel 6 through an eyelet guide 72 and then through a brake 73, which smooths it out and generates the necessary tension, whereupon it is wound onto a roller 74 which is driven by a motor 75.
From the package 3, the yarn 76 is drawn through the guides 77 and 78 and then through an eye 79 which is arranged on an arm 80 which extends through a slot 81 arranged in a housing 82 and actuates a lever 84 articulated at 85 which in turn acts on a microswitch 86. At the end of the lever 84 weights 87 are attached which can be shifted to adjust the tension of the yarn 76. From the eye 79, the yarn 76 runs through a fixed guide 88 to a winder, such as a winder. B. to a spindle, not shown in the drawing, driven at constant speed, where it is wound onto cones or other bobbins in the usual way.
The switch 86 controls the motor 75 such that the tape is withdrawn when the tension in the yarn increases and the motor 75 is switched off when the tension in the yarn decreases. In this way it is achieved that a practically constant amount of yarn is present at the point at which the yarn, and thus the tape 5, leaves the lap 6. As the yarn is unwound more rapidly, the point of separation of the yarn and tape shifts into the package 6, increasing the tension in the yarn 76. As a result, the switch is closed and thus the motor 75 is set in motion, whereby the tape is pulled from the winding and this is thereby rotated, so that the separation point of yarn and tape is again shifted outwards from the inside of the winding. This continues until all the yarn has been unwound from lap 6.
The device according to the invention makes it possible to relocate the point at which the fiber strand 4 is separated from the tape 5 exactly to that point at which the tape 5 runs off the roll. In this way a particularly favorable unwinding of the fiber strand from the lap is made possible, which is of the greatest importance for the uniform retention of the crimp.
