Kabelabrollbock

Cable unwind stand
The invention relates to a cable unwinding stand which is characterized by a frame with support shoes, each of which is provided with a roller so that a cable drum inserted into the stand rests with its flanges on the rollers, whereby it is rotatably mounted.
Compared to the known unwinding stands, in which the cable drums are supported by means of a shaft passing through the axis of the drum in support bearings arranged on the frame of the unwinding frame, the present one has the advantage that its frame can be made very light. The weight of the cable drum used in the unwinding stand according to the invention is transferred from the rollers directly to the support shoes standing on the floor.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing: Fig. 1 shows a diagrammatic representation of the cable unwinding stand with inserted cable drum supported on the rollers, Fig. 2 schematically shows the unwinding stand attached to a cable drum standing on the floor with its flanges, Fig. 3 the stand and the bobbin during the Tilting up and FIG. 4 shows the cable drum inserted in the bracket and ready for pulling off the cable.
The support shoes l drawn are trough-shaped. so that if they are pressed into the soil by the weight of the cable they keep the soil away from the pulleys. In these tubs 2 rollers 3 are rotatably mounted by means of flanges.
The frame of the roll stand has two bar triangles 4, 5, 6. The support shoes l sit at the corners of the triangles resting on the rod 4. The corners of the triangles opposite the rods 4 are connected to one another by means of cross bars 7 and 8.
On the rods 6, clamps 12 can be adjusted and locked up and down, each of which is provided with an auxiliary bearing for a rod 13. Brakes 10, which are equipped with pressure levers 11, are rotatably arranged on the rod 7.
Since the frame of the roll stand only has to carry a fraction of the weight of the cable, it is very light.
The frame is attached to a cable drum 15 to be unwound in the manner shown in FIG. 2 in such a way that its rollers 3 rest on the flanges 14 of the drum. In this position, the roll stand can be used as a drawbar; d. H. the roll stand can be coupled to a vehicle and the drum can be moved or pulled. The frame can also be erected with the aid of a towing vehicle which is connected to the eyelet 9. Only a fraction of the weight of the drum has to be lifted by means of the rods t and the auxiliary layers.
Since the drum has to be held back after the position as shown in FIG. 3 has been exceeded and must be slowly placed on the shoes adjacent to the bars 6, the towing vehicle is connected to the eye 9 by means of a drawbar.
