B. Rohre, Platten, in besonders vorteilhafter
B. dünnwandige Me- tallfolien, z.

Process for the production of molded bodies made of concrete and treated with plastic
The invention relates to a method for the production of molded bodies or prefabricated parts made of concrete or the like that have been treated with plastic. It is already known to produce molded bodies from concrete and to coat them with plastic afterwards. In this known method, the procedure is that, after careful cleaning, the finished and dry concrete body is coated with hardenable plastic compounds by spatula, spraying, brushing or rolling and the applied layer is allowed to harden on the concrete surface.
However, this known method has numerous disadvantages. It requires several operations and is therefore cumbersome, time consuming and costly to carry out. In addition, according to this method, firmly adhering plastic layers can only be achieved if the concrete body to be coated is absolutely dry and free of dust. If these conditions are not met, the plastic coating will flake off or tear off. In order to ensure the required dryness, the plastic coating must therefore be applied in several layers, whereby the application of a layer is only possible when the layer underneath has cured.
For the proper application of a really firmly adhering plastic surface, it takes an average of several weeks with the previously known method.
The invention is now based on the object of eliminating the disadvantages of the previous method of working and a process for the production of plastic-coated moldings, prefabricated parts u. Like. To create from concrete.
This object is achieved in that a mold corresponding to the molded body to be produced, which is suitably provided with a release agent, is coated with a plastic compatible with concrete, then earth-moist concrete mortar is introduced into the coated mold and in a manner known per se, for. B. by shaking or tamping, compacted and allowed to dry. After removing the mold, concrete moldings are obtained which have an absolutely firmly adhering surface layer made of plastic.
According to the invention, the plastics that are compatible with concrete are in particular cold-curing plastic compositions based on polyester and epoxy resins, which have a viscous consistency and solidify glassy under the influence of an added hardening agent. Such viscous plastic compounds combine excellently with concrete that is still moist and, after hardening, give absolutely firmly adhering surface layers.
The thickness of the hardenable plastic layer to be applied to the mold can largely be kept as desired. It depends on the desired surface effect. Are z. If, for example, only very thin layers are chosen, moldings can be obtained which to a certain extent have the appearance of concrete, since particles of the binder penetrate the plastic layer during the vibration process and are therefore visible from the outside. If such penetration is to be prevented, it is expedient to choose thicker layers of plastic or to first apply a primer layer, allow it to harden and then add a second layer of plastic to it.
According to the invention, it is also possible instead of one produced by curing in the mold

Like.the most diverse structures or structures, such as silos, foundations, water tanks, sewage plants, dams, etc., can be produced. Any device known per se can be used for the production of moldings, eg. B. presses, plate making machines and. Like., operate.
The manufacture of pipes can e.g. B. be done in the usual pipe manufacturing machines.
It has been shown that molded bodies such. B. pipes, plates, in particularly advantageous
Way with known devices can be produced if you use thin-walled forms or pads, which are known as lost forms only before the laying or use of the with
Plastic tempered concrete molding are removed. The lost molds to be used according to the invention can consist of any material that does not bond firmly to the plastic layer of the molded body to be produced. Suitable materials are z. B. thin-walled metal foils, z. B. made of aluminum, laminated or coated cardboard or cardboard with plastic
Rigid foils, e.g. B. made of polyvinyl chloride or other plastics.
Have been particularly suitable with
Cellulose film laminated cardboard has proven to be available at a low price.
When carrying out the new method, the lost shape can optionally also be inserted into an outer shape. This is particularly advisable when the molding is produced with the aid of vibrating devices known per se. if, on the other hand, presses are used to produce the shaped bodies, there is no need to use an external mold, since the lost mold can be inserted directly into the die of the press.
The moldings with the lost molds proposed according to the invention can be produced with or without sanding before the wet or earth-moist concrete mortar is introduced into the lost mold coated with the moist plastic compound.
The use of lost molds made of inexpensive materials, as proposed according to the invention, significantly improves the production of plastic-coated concrete moldings and enables the use of conventional presses. In addition, the tedious cleaning of the molds can be avoided when vibrating machines are used, since inserting the lost mold always ensures that the tempered molded body can be removed cleanly from the mold. Another advantage is that the mold can be used for a further manufacturing process immediately after the compression process has been completed and the molded body with the lost mold adhering to it has been removed.
Finally, this embodiment also eliminates the need to treat the molds of the vibrating machine or the die of the press with a release agent.
The thin-walled lost forms adhering to the surface can be easily peeled off after the moldings have been completed. They are expediently only removed before the molded body is used.
In the production of the new molded body, fastening elements can already be provided in the same operation.
The invention is explained in more detail using the exemplary embodiment below.
Example: A mold that consists of a metal plate and has a frame is rubbed with a silicone-based release agent. A hardening agent is then added to a cold-curing plastic compound based on polyester and epoxy resin, which contains pigments and fillers. The plastic compound, which has a viscous consistency, is then applied in the form of a thin layer by brushing onto the mold. Allow to cure, which takes about 30 minutes. A second layer of the polyester-epoxy copolymer, which does not need to contain any pigment to save money, is then applied in a second layer. The mold is placed on a vibrator and left to vibrate for about 30 seconds or less. The mold is then set down to harden.
The hardening time depends on the type of binder used. When using Portland cement, hardening times of around 3 days can be expected, when using high-alumina cement, 20 - 24 hours. After hardening, the panel is removed from the mold and is ready for installation. Follow-up treatment is not required.
