Transportschaufel für Traktoren u. a. Fahrzeuge

Transport shovel for tractors etc. a. vehicles
The present invention relates to a transport shovel of the type that is in the tow arms of a
The tractor can be swiveled and lifted and is provided with a power-operated push arm. Such a transport shovel is in Norway. U.S. Patent No. 84,949.
The novelty of the present transport shovel is that it is provided, in a special way, with a device which allows the contents of the bucket-like shovel to spread out when it is emptied. This device can, for example, be a screw, as is known for spreading manure in connection with fertilizer wagons with a treadmill floor and has also already been designed to be able to be raised and lowered relative to the soil.
Further features of the invention will become apparent in the following on the basis of the description of an exemplary embodiment which is shown in the drawings. 1 shows the side view of a transport shovel which is fastened to a tractor, the shovel, which could also be referred to as a bucket shovel, being in the lower tilted position. In the same figure, the blade is shown in the lower but upright position with dashed lines. FIG. 2 is the side view of the transport shovel shown in FIG. 1, but the shovel is in the raised, upright position, and in the same figure the bucket shovel can be seen in the upper but tilted position in dashed lines.
In the drawing, 1 denotes the transport shovel, which is provided with a wedge-shaped sole support 2 in the middle of the rear outer side. This support wedge of the sole means that the shovel guides itself when, for example, it is pushed into a manure heap. The transport shovel, which is somewhat wider than the greatest width of the tractor, is hinged to the free ends of the usual tractor push arms so that it can pivot below the floor surface. Each of these arms is pivotally connected to the hydraulic crank 5 of the tractor with the interposition of a link 4. One end of a pressure arm 6 is articulated to the sole support 2 and at its other end is articulated to the one lever 7 of an angle lever 7, 8.
This lever is pivotably supported by a bolt 9 which is provided on a post 10 which consists of a profile iron and to which a bracket 11 is secured. A bolt 12 penetrating the bracket 11 connects the post 10 to the differential housing 13 of the tractor. A support plate 14 connected to the post 10 holds the post 10 in the correct position with respect to the tractor by the support plate 14 resting on the differential housing 13. The angle lever 7, 8 is stiffened by means of a strut 15. Two tie rods 16 are connected at one end to the free end of the arm 8, while the second end of the same is pivotally connected to the protruding ends of a shaft 17 carried by the closed end of a hydraulic cylinder 18.
Two parallel wheels 19 sitting on the shaft 1'1 are arranged such that they can roll along the upright 10 when the working cylinder 18 is in operation. The free end of the piston rod 20 of the cylinder 18 is pivotably connected to a bracket 21 which is secured on the post 10. The bracket 21 is supported by two parallel struts 22.
With a helical spreader 23 is designated, the length of which is equal to the width of the blade. One half of the snail is right-handed, the other half left-handed. The worm is pivotably arranged between the outer ends of two worm support arms 24, while the other ends of these support arms are rotatably mounted in bolts 25, which are located on both sides of the bucket

are located. A chain wheel 26 is arranged on the outside of the right rear tractor wheel designated by 27. The worm 23 is driven by the chain wheel 26 via a chain 28 which runs over the chain wheels 29 and 30. The chain wheel 33 is secured to the worm 23. The sprockets 30 and 32, which are connected to one another, are rotatably secured on the bolt 25.
Furthermore, one end of a strut 34 engages the bolt 25. The second end of this strut 34 carries a bolt 35 on which the chain wheel 29 is rotatably seated. The chain wheel 29 has no teeth. One end of a coupling lever 36 is also pivotably supported by a bolt 35. One end of an arm 37 is pivotably connected to the coupling lever 36, while the second end is pivotably connected to the center of the chain wheel 26.
A chain 38 that goes over the top of the strut
10 located roller 39 is connected with its one end to the middle of a U-shaped frame 40, which bridges the two screw support arms 24, whereas the second end of said chain 38 at a cross connection between the two push arms 3 the tractor is secured; this cross-connection is not apparent from the drawings.
The operation of the device is as follows: The transport shovel 1 is in the lower, tilted position (FIG. 1) and is pushed into a manure heap, for example, so that the transport shovel fills up. The hydraulic crank 5 and the working cylinders 18 are then switched on in order to carry out a lifting movement. Since the movement of the working cylinder 18 is opposed to comparatively less resistance than the movement of the hydraulic crank 5, the piston of the
The cylinder 18 is immediately pushed upwards so that the wheels 19 roll upwards along the posts 10.
The consequence of this is that the two tie rods 16 rotate the angle lever 7, 8 around the bolt 9, so that the pressure arm 6 is displaced to the right in the drawing, whereby the transport shovel 1 is rotated about its joints forming the connection with the push arms and so assumes its upright position (Fig. 1, dashed lines), because the pressure arm interacts with the underside of the transport shovel. From this point in time the hydraulic crank 5 also rises so that the transport shovel is brought into its upper position (FIG. 2). A lock, which cannot be seen in the drawing, is now connected to the hydraulic crank and relieves it so that the transport bucket 1 is locked in its lifting position.
During the entire activity just described, the clutch lever 36 was in its free position, so that the chain 28 was not in engagement with the sprocket 26.
The load in the transport shovel is now carried to the field where the emptying and the
Spread out as follows:
The working cylinder 18 is actuated for the purpose of lowering the transport bucket, the transport bucket being tilted by its own weight and the weight of its load, so that the bucket contents begin to fall out by itself (FIG. 2, dashed lines). At the same time, the clutch lever 36 is pivoted forward so that the chain 28 begins to work together with the sprocket 26. As a result, the worm 23 is set in rotation as long as the tractor is moving. The transmission ratio between the chain wheel 26 and the worm 23 is 1:16.
As already mentioned above, starting from its center, the auger is right-handed on the one hand and left-handed on the other, which means that the fertilizer is spread over the field in an evenly thick layer when the tractor is moving. As soon as the entire load has been released, the clutch lever 36 is reset again so that the chain 28 disengages from the sprocket 26, whereby the rotation of the worm 23 comes to an end.
Then the working cylinder 18 is put into operation for the purpose of lifting the device, whereby the transport shovel 1 is moved back into its upright position (FIG. 2). After the tractor has returned and is again facing the manure heap, the aforementioned lock is released and the hydraulic crank 5 and the cylinder 18 are switched on in order to lower and tilt the transport shovel.
The transport shovel is thereby returned to its original position (Fig. 1). As is readily apparent from the drawing, the frame 40 and thereby the worm 23 are pulled back by the chain 38 when the transport shovel is tilted into the lower position. This ensures that the distribution screw 23 does not block the mouth of the bucket shovel when it is to be pushed into the manure heap or the like.
