Kapuze
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Kapuze, bestehend aus zwei, der Seitenansicht des Kopfes angenähert entsprechenden, durch eine Naht miteinander verbundenen Teilen, die ausserordentlich ein- fach herzustellen sowie mit oder ohne Mantel zu tragen ist.
Es ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, Kapuzen in der Weise zu gestalten, dass sie entweder fest mit dem Kleidungsstück verbunden oder aufgeknöpft werden können. Auch sind Kapuzen in Verwendung, die selbständig als Kopf- oder Hutschutz getragen werden.
Die Herstellung dieser Kapuzen ist verhältnismässig kompliziert, da die Kapuzen aus verschiedenen, einzeln zuzuschneidenden Teilen bestehen. Dies verteuert die Herstellung. Ein sicherer Sitz wird trotz der vielteiligen Schnitte nicht erreicht, sondern es ist hiezu meist nötig, noch Bänder oder Gummizüge anzu- ordnen.
Die Erfindung besteht nun darin, dass der vordere Rand der Kapuze nach einwärts umgeschlagen ist und der Umschlag in einem Abstande von der Mittellinie der Kapuze durch je einen keilförmigen Ab- näher fixiert ist, womit die Anpassung der Kapuze an die Kopfform gewährleistet ist.
In der Zeichnung ist eine Kapuze gemäss der Erfindung dargestellt. Es zeigen : Fig. 1 eine Ausführung der fertigen Kapuze von der Seite gesehen, Fig. 2 eine Ausführung der fertigen Kapuze von vorne gesehen und Fig. 3 die Ansicht eines Schnitteiles.
Die Kapuze besteht aus zwei Teilen, welche angenähert der Seitenansicht des Kopfes entsprechen und die Form besitzen, wie sie die Fig. 3 zeigt. Da die Teile spiegelbildlich gleich sind, können die einzelnen Schnitteile in einem einzigen Arbeitsgang, nach entsprechendem Legen des Stoffes, hergestellt werden. Selbstverständlich wird in der Regel der Schnitt in verschiedenen, in der Konfektion üblichen Grössen entworfen. Nach dem Zusammennähen der Teile längs der Linie a (Fig. 2) wird der vordere Rand b der Kapuze nach einwärts umgeschlagen und sodann, ungefähr 4 cm links und rechts von der Kapuzenmitte entfernt, durch Abnäher c eine konische Verengung des Kapuzenraumes erzielt, wodurch erreicht wird, dass sich die Kapuze beim Aufsetzen leichter der Form des Kopfes anschmiegen kann.
Durch Herausziehen des vorderen Randes des Umschlages im Bereiche der Stirne im Bedarfsfalle wird die Spannung der vorderen Kante des Randes erhöht, so dass sich der vordere Rand der Kapuze eng an die Stirn anschmiegt und sich somit ein Abrutschen der Kapuze vom Kopfe, auch bei stärkerem Winde, mit Sicherheit verhindern lässt (Fig. l). Trotz dieser einfachen Formgebung wird ein ausserordentlich sicherer Sitz der Kapuze erzielt. Die Kapuze besitzt ausserdem in jeder Art des Tragens ein gefälliges Aussehen.

Hood
The present invention relates to a hood, consisting of two parts which correspond approximately to the side view of the head and are connected to one another by a seam, which is extremely easy to manufacture and to wear with or without a coat.
It has already been proposed to design hoods in such a way that they can either be firmly attached to the garment or unbuttoned. Hoods are also used, which are worn independently as head or hat protection.
The production of these hoods is relatively complicated, since the hoods consist of different, individually cut parts. This makes production more expensive. A secure fit is not achieved in spite of the multi-part cuts, but it is usually necessary to arrange straps or elastic bands.
The invention consists in that the front edge of the hood is turned over inwards and the turn-over is fixed at a distance from the center line of the hood by a wedge-shaped tie, which ensures that the hood is adapted to the shape of the head.
In the drawing, a hood according to the invention is shown. They show: FIG. 1 an embodiment of the finished hood seen from the side, FIG. 2 an embodiment of the finished hood seen from the front, and FIG. 3 the view of a cut piece.
The hood consists of two parts, which approximately correspond to the side view of the head and have the shape as shown in FIG. Since the parts are the same in mirror image, the individual cut parts can be produced in a single operation after the fabric has been laid accordingly. It goes without saying that the cut is usually designed in different sizes that are customary in clothing. After sewing the parts together along the line a (Fig. 2), the front edge b of the hood is turned inwards and then, about 4 cm to the left and right of the hood center, a conical narrowing of the hood space is achieved by means of darts c that the hood can more easily cling to the shape of the head when put on
By pulling out the front edge of the envelope in the area of the forehead, if necessary, the tension of the front edge of the edge is increased so that the front edge of the hood clings closely to the forehead and thus the hood can slip off the head, even in strong winds can be prevented with certainty (Fig. l). Despite this simple shape, the hood is extremely secure. The hood also has a pleasing appearance in every type of wear.
