soDie Klinke 6 ist mit einer schlagen Auflauffläche 10 versehen, wodurch das Bajonett auf den Gewehrlauf aufgesetzt werden kann, ohne dass es erforderlich ist, den Bolzen 8 einzudrücken. Der am Gewehrlauf vorgesehene Vorsprung 5 weist einen Anschlag 11 auf, der die aufschiebende Bewegung des Bajonettes an der hinteren Seite begrenzt.
Aus Fig. 4 geht hervor, dass die Nut 7 bei der Anordnung nach der Erfindung einen schrägen Bodenteil 12 hat und die Nut in der Längsrichtung eine grössere Abmessung als die Klinke 6 hat. Beim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel verhindert ein Anschlagrand 13 am vorderen Ende des schrägen Bodenteiles 12 der Nut 7, dass das Bajonett vom Lauf entfernt werden kann, ohne dass man die Klinke aus der Nut herausgeschoben hat. Durch den von der Feder 9 ausgeübten Druck wird das Bajonett normal in seiner vom Anschlag 11 bestimmten hintersten Lage gehalten. Beim Abfeuern des Schusses wird das Bajonett während des Rücklaufes des Gewehres zurückbleiben, indem die federnde Klinke 6 auf den schrägen Bodenteil 12 der Nut 7 auflaufen kann, so dass das Bajonett keinen nachteiligen Einfluss auf die Genauigkeit des Schusses des Gewehres ausüben wird.
Beim Vergleichen der Fig. 4 mit Fig. 5, welche die bekannte Bajonettbefestigung zeigt, geht hervor, welche geringe Änderung zur Erzielung der erfindungsgemässen Anordnung vorzunehmen ist. Die Ausbildung der Klinke 6 ist genau die gleiche, so dass die üblichen Bajonette keiner einzigen Änderung bedürfen. Der einzige Unterschied liegt in der Ausbildung der Sicherungsnut. Bei der bekannten Anordnung ist die Nut 7'eine rechteckige Aussparung mit flachem Boden und einem Anschlagrand 12', wobei die Abmessung der Nut in der Längsrichtung etwa derjenigen der Klinke 6 entspricht.
Die Einrichtung nach vorliegender Erfindung ist mit der Befestigung eines Bajonettes an einem Gewehr erläutert, aber dieselbe kann selbstverständlich auch für die Befestigung jedes andern Zusatzgerätes, wie eines Visiers benutzt werden.

The pawl 6 is provided with a striking contact surface 10, whereby the bayonet can be placed on the gun barrel without it being necessary to press in the bolt 8. The projection 5 provided on the gun barrel has a stop 11 which limits the sliding movement of the bayonet on the rear side.
4 shows that the groove 7 in the arrangement according to the invention has an inclined bottom part 12 and the groove has a larger dimension than the pawl 6 in the longitudinal direction. In the illustrated embodiment, a stop edge 13 at the front end of the inclined bottom part 12 of the groove 7 prevents the bayonet from being removed from the barrel without the pawl having been pushed out of the groove. Due to the pressure exerted by the spring 9, the bayonet is normally held in its rearmost position determined by the stop 11. When the shot is fired, the bayonet will remain behind during the return of the rifle, in that the resilient pawl 6 can run up against the inclined bottom part 12 of the groove 7, so that the bayonet will not have any adverse effect on the accuracy of the shot of the rifle.
When comparing FIG. 4 with FIG. 5, which shows the known bayonet fastening, it becomes clear what small change has to be made in order to achieve the arrangement according to the invention. The design of the pawl 6 is exactly the same, so that the usual bayonets do not require a single change. The only difference is the design of the locking groove. In the known arrangement, the groove 7 ′ is a rectangular recess with a flat bottom and a stop edge 12 ′, the dimensions of the groove in the longitudinal direction roughly corresponding to that of the pawl 6.
The device according to the present invention is illustrated with the attachment of a bayonet to a rifle, but it can of course also be used for the attachment of any other additional device, such as a sight.
