Turn the hornshell position and fix it in this position by tightening the socket wrench screws 7. As a result, the spring 12 is effective, which tends to press the horns towards one another. With just a few simple steps, the Hosteller can be put on quickly and effortlessly without the need to unscrew screws, which could then easily be lost.
By loosening the screws 7, it is possible to turn the rings 8 and thus to correct the position of the horns again.
It is favorable if the yoke 1, 2 and the horn holders 6, 8 are made of aluminum, while plastic is used for the production of the horn shells. Compared to the wood previously used for the production of Homstellem, aluminum has the advantage of more efficient processing options and significantly better cleanability. Its weight is so low that it has no adverse effects compared to the weight of wood.
Plastic as a material for the horn shells has the same advantages in terms of the possibilities for production and cleaning compared to the wood previously used for the horn shells.
The invention is not limited to the illustrated and described exemplary embodiment. Rather, various modifications thereof are possible without departing from the basic idea of the invention. For example, the horn shells can have a shape other than the frustoconical shape shown and described; they can be designed, for example, as half-shells, as was customary up to now. The resilient pressing of the horn shells against their holders can also be achieved by other means than those shown and described. Modifications are also possible with regard to the design of the yoke, which does not have to consist of two parts that can be displaced in the longitudinal direction relative to one another, but rather enables a change in the spacing of the horn shell holder in a different, known manner.
PATENT CLAIMS: 1. Hosteller, consisting of a yoke connecting two adjustable horn cups with swiveling horn cups, which allows a change in the distance between the horn cups, characterized in that the hom cup holders (6, 8) are used as rotary bearings for the continuous adjustment and adjustment of the horn cups (15) the Homshells (15) are formed.
