Schliesslich ist noch erwähnenswert, dass mit den nach dem erfindungsgemässen Verfahren hergestellten Produkten hinsichtlich des Schaumvermögens ein extrem weiter Bereich von praktisch Null bis zu sehr hohen Werten erzielbar ist. Diese Eigenschaft ermöglicht die Verwirklichung zahlreicher interessanter Entwicklungen, da es Fälle gibt, in denen hohe Waschkraft zusammen mit möglichst geringer Schaumbildung erwünscht ist.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung oberflächenaktiver Stoffe, bei welchem ein Glyzerid mit einem Alkohol in flüssiger Phase, vorzugsweise in einem inerten organischen Lösungsmittel, in Gegenwart von Carbonaten, Alkylaten oder Phosphaten von Alkalimetallen als Katalysatoren, umgeestert wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Glyzerid mit Xylit etwa 6-16 Stunden lang bei Temperaturen von 20 bis etwa 1200C umsetzt.

PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A process for the preparation of surface-active substances, in which a glyceride with an alcohol in the liquid phase, preferably in an inert organic solvent, in the presence of carbonates, alkylates or phosphates of alkali metals as catalysts, is transesterified, characterized in that the glyceride with Xylitol reacts for about 6-16 hours at temperatures from 20 to about 1200C.
