Apparatus for registering cerebral blood flow
The invention relates to an apparatus for registering the cerebral blood flow, by derivation at the skull surface, with an alternating current being sent galvanically, inductively or capacitively through the object, at one or more points independently of one another and independent of the current-carrying ones. Electrodes a voltage drop is tapped, amplified and demodulated, whereby a measuring voltage proportional to the current is phase shifted by 1800, amplitude unequal, but the tapped measuring voltage is lagging behind.

According to the invention, the previous arrangement, which is described in Austrian patent specification No. 210058, is significantly simplified in its operation by the fact that the current-dependent compensation voltage
 EMI1.1
development of the measurement demodulator 6 and the compensation demodulator 7 is fixed, so that the compensation voltage is only adjusted in its amplitude by the controller 5 of the measurement voltage.

According to the invention, a separate compensation demodulator 7 and controller 5 are provided for each measuring circuit. The invention is explained in more detail using a circuit diagram with a connected test object 9.

10 is an oscillator that generates the constant alternating current. The current flows through the transformer 2 and the object 9. The measurement voltage tapped from the object by means of electrodes is generated by the ground-independent. Measuring amplifier 1 amplified and demodulated by demodulator 6. A current-dependent voltage is obtained at the transformer 2, amplified by the amplifier 3 and demodulated separately for each measuring circuit by the demodulator 7. The polarity of the demodulator 7 is reversed with respect to the demodulator 6, so that the measured voltage and the current-dependent modulation voltage are combined with opposite polarity by the regulator 5 at 8. The demodulated voltage difference can be fed from connection 8 to a registration amplifier, the level of the voltage difference being able to be adjusted by the controller 5.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1.Apparatus for registering the cerebral blood flow by deriving it from the surface of the skull, whereby an alternating current is sent galvanically, inductively or capacitively through the object and voltage drops are tapped, amplified and demodulated at one or more points independently of each other and independently of the current-carrying electrodes according to patent no. 210058, characterized in that the current-dependent compensation voltage is demodulated and this current-dependent demodulation voltage is applied to the demodulated measuring voltage with opposite polarity via an amplitude regulator (5).
