Description

  Carpet knotting machine
The invention relates to a carpet knotting machine with a pile thread store, the adjacent bobbins, spindles or the like. They are arranged according to the carpet pattern.

All the devices proposed so far are only suitable for larger companies from the outset because of their high purchase price. A more recent proposal therefore provides for the use of a memory for the pile threads arranged in rows according to the carpet pattern, which creates a carpet knotting machine that is not only cheap but also extremely simple to operate, which can also be purchased by small and very small businesses. For such a machine, it is particularly advantageous to arrange the pile threads as closely as possible in the store.

The present invention solves this problem in that it uses coils which consist of a coil body and only one coil flange. This makes it possible to lay the pile threads next to one another in a very small space and thus to get by without special reducing devices which bring the pile threads to the width of the Kntipfwerk, which makes such a machine simpler and cheaper.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the present invention is shown. FIG. 1 shows a diagram of a coil according to the invention and FIG. 2 shows a part of a memory row assembled with coils according to the invention. lnFig. 3 shows a variation of a coil according to the first embodiment.

The coil according to the invention consists of a core 1 which is as short as possible and which is firmly connected to the limiting flange 2. It can be seen that the core will preferably only have the width of the respective pile thread, which is why, in order to store as much pile thread as possible, the height of the flange 2 should be selected to be sufficiently large.

The bobbin 3 is pushed onto the axle 4 with its bore 3, the core 1 closely adjoining the adjacent bobbin and being closed off by its flange 21, 22, etc. The ends of a storage row formed from the coils are held together by any known means in such a way that the cores 1, 11, 12, etc., with their respective adjacent flanges 2, 2t, 22, etc., rest firmly against one another.

The illustrated embodiment only shows possibilities for the design of a coil according to the invention, but should in no way restrict them to this, because various variations of the illustrated examples are conceivable, which should also be included in the scope of protection.
