<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
festgehalten.

Unit with a base and one placed on it
Support bracket for the actuators of the installation devices used
The invention relates to a structural unit with one or more bases for installation switches,
Sockets or the like and a support bracket carrying these and any actuating elements and consists in that support brackets are attached to the legs of the support bracket, which are used to accommodate further installation devices. In this way, a structural unit is created in which any installation devices. z. B. bell or ight button or sockets are optionally used. Since the base according to the invention including the support bracket z.
B. accommodates three installation devices and each attachable support bracket can each carry a further installation device, the combination according to the invention creates the possibility of using one to five installation devices optionally in one structural unit.
The invention also consists in that the legs of the support bracket have angled tabs that penetrate the slots of the support bracket and hold the latter in the twisted state. This enables a particularly simple type of fastening between the support bracket and the support bracket.
The structural unit according to the invention can be used in a conventional flush-mounted box without a mounted bracket. Screws or expanding clamps can be used for fastening. The support brackets can either have holes for the passage of fastening screws or expanding claws, which are used to fasten the expanded structural unit mentioned above in a single flush-mounted box.
The interior of such a flush-mounted box can be divided into individual rooms by one or more walls of insulating material.
The invention is illustrated in more detail in the drawing using some exemplary embodiments. 1 shows an exploded diagrammatic representation of a base according to the invention including a mounting bracket and support bracket, FIG. 2 shows a vertical sectional view of a module according to the invention inserted into a flush-mounted box, and FIG. 3 shows an expanded module inserted into a larger flush-mounted box.
It can be seen from the figures of the drawing that the structural unit according to the invention consists of a base 1, a support bracket 2 and support brackets 4. The base 1 is used to accommodate all stationary and movable contacts and the mounting bracket 2 includes the base 1 with legs 2a in the attached state. These legs 2a can have angled tabs 2b that penetrate the slots 4a of the support bracket 4 and hold the latter in the twisted state.
The support bracket 2 can also be held on the base 1 by a screw bolt 3 which holds the legs 2a together on the underside.
So that the base 1 can be fastened alone in a conventional flush-mounted box, 2 bent-out tabs 2c according to FIG. 2 are provided on the legs 2a of the support bracket 2 through which fastening screws pass.
If the aforementioned support bracket 4 are to be attached to the support bracket 2, the tabs 2c are bent back into the plane of the legs 2a, which can be seen from FIG.
According to FIG. 3, the attached support brackets 4 can carry a plug contact 5 or a push button button 6. The plug contact 5 rests with one side surface on the leg 4b of the support bracket 4 and is secured by a tongue 4c of the support bracket 4 according to FIG. 1 that engages in a wall groove
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
held. For further fastening, the plug contact 5 can also have a groove on the opposite wall at the same height, into which parts of the web 4e engage. The recesses 4d shown in FIG. 1 serve to ensure that after a plug contact 5 has been inserted into the opening of the support bracket 4 shown in FIG. 1, a screwdriver is inserted into the recesses 4d and then turned.
The rotation of the screwdriver results in a bulging of the web 4e towards the inside.
From FIG. 3 it can be seen that the structural unit 1, 2 expanded by the support bracket 4 is inserted into a larger flush-mounted box 8 and is held in place by screws. Between the push button 6 and the smaller structural unit 1, 2, an insulating wall 7 can be used, which divides the interior of the flush-mounted box 8 into individual spaces 8a, 8b. This division is of course also possible or necessary between the plug contact 5 and the structural unit 1, 2 if the plug contact 5 is fed by a separate circuit.
The concept of the invention is by no means exhausted by the structural unit shown and described in the drawing. For example, the switching units do not have to rest on a common base, because they can also be held as independent devices by a common U-shaped support member, on whose legs the support bracket 4 mentioned can advantageously be attached respectively. The expanded combination device according to FIG. 3 does not necessarily have to: sit in a common flush-mounted box, but can be accommodated in two or three separate flush-mounted boxes.
Both the fastening of the base 1 in a conventional flush-mounted box and that of an extended combination device in a correspondingly larger flush-mounted box can be done by means of expansion clamps.
