Hotplate with expansion joints covered by profile rods or the like
The invention relates to hotplates of the known type. Which are provided with expansion joints covered by profile rods or the like. The profile bars are preferably attached to the underside of the hotplate by welding. The expansion joints give the stove top the opportunity to expand so that it is prevented from being warped. One difficulty is to arrange the expansion joints in such a way that the load-bearing capacity of the plate is not significantly weakened and the heat conduction is not interrupted.
Several straight expansion joints have already been made to the hearth ring hole and one of them also to the edge of the hob.
In contrast to this, according to the invention, the hotplate is provided with kinked expansion joints which begin at some distance from the hearth ring and extend to the delimiting edges of the plate.
In this way it is avoided that the panels tear to the edge, which always occurs with expansion joints that are not extended to the edge. In addition, the kinked design of the expansion joints prevents the panels from sagging.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown u. FIG. 1 shows a plan view of the plate and FIG. 2 shows a bottom view of the same.
The hotplate H is provided with a circular hearth ring hole L. Furthermore, slots S and S, which act as expansion joints and which run essentially in the direction of secants with respect to the ice of the opening L, are cut into the hotplate. The expansion joints D, which lead to the delimiting edges B of the plate H, connect to these slots at an obtuse angle. The slots or expansion joints are covered by profile rods P and p which are welded to the underside of the hob. The welding takes place alternately once on the left and once on the right of the expansion joint. A circular plate K or stove rings are inserted into the ring hole and rest on the four ring segments R, which are also welded to the stove plate.
The plate K is provided with four expansion joints d forming a cross, one of which extends to the edge of the plate. These expansion joints are also covered by welded profile bars P on the underside.
Due to the obtuse angle. Interlocking slots (expansion joints) In cooperation with the mutual welding of the profile rods, a perfect support of the parts of the stove top remaining between the slots is achieved so that they cannot bend.
