Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Kondensatorkleinmikrophon

  Small condenser microphone
In the master patent kr. 199713 describes a condenser microphone with preferably one-sided directional characteristic, the membrane of which the sound waves can reach from both sides, the front side being directly exposed to the sound field, while the rear side is acted upon by a narrow ring-shaped channel that runs on the outer surface of the microphone body And which has a length that corresponds at least to the diameter of the membrane.

   However, there may be slight irregularities in the frequency curve at 00 sound incidence, which are caused by interference effects for short wavelengths.

   1 shows such a frequency curve with existing irregularities of a small microphone according to the main patent. In the range between 4000 Hz and 10000 Hz, an increase in the frequency curve of around 2 db and a drop of around 3 db can be observed.

   To remedy this inconvenience, according to the invention in the sleeve that delimits the annular channel, a. or several small openings attached. The sound waves can thus also enter through these openings and the sound detour between the front and back of the membrane is of different lengths, so that the pressure gradient is compensated as the driving force.

   In Fig. 2, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown, partially in section.

   The design corresponds to FIG. 6 of the main patent, but openings 36 are made in the sleeve 18, which limit the annular channel 22 to the outside. The number, shape, size and grouping of the openings have an influence on the balancing effect, so that it is up to you to empirically achieve the most favorable effect.
