Zusammenklappbare Antenne

Collapsible antenna
The invention relates to a collapsible antenna, in particular VHF and television antenna, the antenna elements of which are articulated to brackets which in turn are attached to a carrier, e.g. B. the support tube of the antenna attached. In the known antennas of this type, the foldable elements must be specially locked on each side of the flap so that they are held in the position of use. This requires a relatively bulky design of the tab and a double lock.
According to the invention, a significant improvement is achieved in that the folding joints are covered on both sides of the bracket in the operating position of the antenna by a multi-part clamp and are locked at the same time. The clamp is useful in its position of use, for. B. by the support tube of the antenna locked. It is achieved that a single clamp is sufficient for locking the joints on both sides of the connecting strap and therefore the strap itself is very simple, e.g. B. can be designed as a simple plate. The flap also has the advantage that the hinge points are safely covered in the position of use and are thus better protected against the effects of the weather.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown as an example.
Fig. 1 shows part of an antenna element with a connecting strap in a side view, Fig. 2 is the top view of the illustration according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 shows the same antenna element in the assembled position with the clamp locked, and Fig. 4 shows the antenna element with the locking clamp, partially folded down.
The antenna rod, which consists of parts 1 and 2, is held by the connecting strap 3 on which parts 1 and 2 are hinged by means of screws, rivets or pins 4. A connection clamp consisting of the upper part 5 and lower part 6 is correspondingly curved or worked out to encompass parts 1 and 2 and to fix it in the desired position with the screw 7, which can be screwed together with the nut 8. An intermediate part 9 is used to lock the clamp.
The screw 7 can expediently serve at the same time as a through screw and attachment screw for the holding frame.
If the assembly or disassembly of the antenna is desired, all that is required is to tighten or loosen the wing screw 8 accordingly. The two clamp parts 5 and 6 are released and let the two antenna rods 1 and 2 out of the clamp. In this way, the antenna rods 1 and 2 assembled to form a unit can be pivoted and folded about the connecting strap 3 as quickly and often as desired, as can be further seen from FIG.
