Zweiteiliger Stauverschluss

Two-part stowage lock
Among the various stowage locks for
Weirs, locks or the like, half segment closures, are known to have a number of advantages.
The normal design with an arrangement of the axis of rotation on the underwater side, however, has the disadvantage that the side arms are subjected to compression or kinking and the pillars are subjected to tension instead of compression.
By arranging the axis of rotation on the upstream side, these disadvantages are avoided.
One-piece closures of the last-mentioned type are known. For operational reasons, however, a two-part closure is often required.
The subject matter of the present invention therefore provides a two-part damming lock with an axis of rotation on the upstream side, in which the upper part can be lowered as low as possible. The position of the axis of rotation is expediently chosen to be the same or approximately the same for both parts. The retaining wall is best designed radially. In principle, however, the retaining wall of a closure part can also. be formed flat. The. Static-structural design (framework, box shape, storage in niches, on consoles, sloping side arms, etc.) can be selected as desired, as can the building material (steel, aluminum or the like). The drive can also be of various types and can be one-sided or two-sided.
The side arms of the lock can be sunk into niches or reach into the free key, supported on consoles, etc.
Some arbitrarily chosen exemplary embodiments are shown in the drawing.
According to FIG. 1, the closure consists of parts 1 and 2. The upper part 1 can be lowered under the projecting retaining wall of part 2.
In Fig. 2, the hook-shaped upper part can be lowered onto the retaining wall of the lower part. The supporting structure of both parts is on the air side.
Fig. 3 provides a solution in which the support structure of the two parts 1 and 2 is directed to different sides, whereby it is possible to increase the lowerability to the maximum, namely half the storage height.
In Fig. 4, which represents a plan view of Fig. 3, the case is sketched that one part of the stowage lock is provided with inclined side arms to reduce the bending moment, while the other part (with the same axis of rotation) has side arms that are parallel to Flow direction are arranged. Both parts release the flow profile completely.
PATENT CLAIMS: I. Two-part storage lock with lowerable upper part, characterized in that the axis of rotation of both parts is mounted on the surface side.
