  Abdeckverbundfolie

  Cover composite film
There are already numerous versions of cover films for motor vehicles, machines, construction equipment, etc. known, the z. B. made of polyethylene or PVC films.

PVC films generally have the disadvantage of lower resistance to cold and, with the usual plasticizers, no resistance to nitrocellulose lacquers; Polyethylene films, on the other hand, are destroyed relatively quickly by UV oxidation when exposed to sunlight and are therefore not very suitable for outdoor use. It is also known to add carbon black to polyethylene films to increase the light stability; however, these black-colored foils do not meet with the desired audience. In addition, if the cover film is black, the covered object will heat up too much when exposed to sunlight. A rubber composite film consisting of a double-walled rubber material with a steel wire mesh insert has also been proposed as the cover film.

However, this film also has only low light stability.

The disadvantages described are avoided in the composite cover film according to the invention in that it consists of two polyethylene films, one of which is provided with light stabilizers, e.g. B. soot, colored and carrier of the mechanical strength, while the other is colored or pigmented to reflect thermal radiation. The outer, any colored or pigmented film
