Es ist beispielsweise für Ausstellungszwecke bereits bekannt, Buchstaben, Namenszüge, Zeichnungen u. dgl. auf Früchten anzubringen, indem man diese mit Stanniol umhüllt, in welchem auf der Sonnenseite die Buchstaben, Namenszüge o. dgl. ausgeschnitten sind. Die Sonne rötet die freien Stellen, während die mit Stanniol bedeckten Stellen blass bleiben. Bei der industriellen Verwertung des obigen bekannten Verfahrens ist die Umhüllung des Obstes mit Stanniol nicht anwendbar, da das Stanniol eventuell noch ein zweites Mal, keinesfalls aber wiederholt verwendet werden kann.
Der vorliegende Erfindungsgegenstand betrifft nun eine dauerhafte Schablone für die industrielle Verwertung dieses Verfahrens, die edindungsgemäss aus elastischem und gleichzeitig schmiegsamen Material besteht (Kautschuk, Seide, Wachsleinwand, imprägnierte Stoffe u. dgl. ) und auf der Frucht vermittelst eines Bandes befestigbar ist. Eine solche Schablone, die beispielsweise aus einem Gummiplättchen (oder einem Plättchen aus vorgenannten Materialien) besteht und aus welcher die Aufschrift, Zeichnung o. dgl. ausgestanzt ist, passt sich infolge ihres elastischen Materials jeder Obstform an und kann leicht und schnell vermittelst des Bandes an der Frucht befestigt werden. Die Befestigung und das elastische Material ermöglicht eine wiederholte Verwendung der Schablone.
Ist die Schablone auf der Frucht befestigt, so werden in bekannter Weise die Sonnenstrahlen die durch die Ausstanzung nicht bedeckte Oberfläche des Obstes dunkel färben. Die Aufschrift oder Zeichnung wird dann nach dem Ausreifen des Obstes sich von der helleren, von der.-Schablone bedeckt gewesenen Oberfläche des Obstes abheben.
