Die Erfindung betrifft ein zusammensteckbares Essbesteck, z. B. bestehend aus Löffel, Gabel, Messer und Dosenöffner, bei welchem die Besteckteile unter Vorspannung aufeinanderliegen und mittels eines Bajonettverschlusses zusammengehalten werden, wobei eine an einem Besteckteil angeordnete Niete Längsschlitze in den Stielen der anderen Besteckteile durchsetzt.
Es ist ein aus Löffel, Gabel und Messer bestehendes Reiseessbesteck bekannt, dessen Teile durch einen Bajonettverschluss verbunden sind.
Der Löffel und die Gabel sind zu beiden Seiten des beidseitig mit Nieten versehenen Messers aufsteckbar. Gegen Verdrehung sind die zusammengesteckten Besteckteile zweifach gesichert, u. zw. rasten einerseits die Nietköpfe in am Ende der Längsschlitze des Löffels und der Gabel angeordnete Rasten und anderseits beidseitig am Messer vorgesehene Wülste in korrespondierende Kerben der anderen Besteckteile ein. Diese Sicherungen wirken aber nur so lange, als die federnden Spannungen der Griffe des Löffels und der Gabel, die in ihrer Längsrichtung als federnde Spannbügel ausgebildet sind, nicht nachlassen. Da aber die bogenförmigen Griffe dieser Besteckteile sowohl beim Zusammenstecken als auch beim Auseinandernehmen flachgedrückt werden müssen, um die Nietköpfe aus den Rasten zu bringen, werden die vorgegebenen Vorspannungen bald unwirksam.
Die Erfindung zielt darauf ab, mit einfachen Mitteln ein sicheres Zusammenhalten der Teile zu gewährleisten, also auch dann, Nenn die Vorspannungen, unter welchen die Teile zusammengesteckt sind, mit der Zeit nachlassen.
Die Erfindung besteht im Wesen darin, dass am Stiel eines der Besteckteile ein Vorsprung und an den Stielen der übrigen Besteckteile diesem Vorsprung zugeordnete im übereinanderliegenden Zustand der Besteckteile sich deckende, vom Rande nach innen verlaufende Schlitze vorgesehen sind, wobei der Vorsprung in der Ver- ; chlussstellung in die Schlitze eingreift, um eine Relativverschiebung der Besteckteile zu verhindern und dadurch den Bajonettverschluss zu sichern. Das Zusammenstecken bzw. Auseinmdernehmen des Besteckes ist äusserst leicht und ohne Kraftaufwand durchführbar, da ausser dem Bajonettverschluss nur eine Verdrehung des einen Besteckteiles erforderlich ist.
Nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird der Vorsprung an dem aussenliegenden flachen Dosenöffner durch das abgebogene
Ende des zum öffnen von Dosen als Stütze dienenden Teiles des Dosenöffners gebildet und das freie Stielende des Dosenöffners bogen- förmig ausgebildet, um sich mit diesem an dem benachbarten Besteckteil abzustützen. Der bo- genförmige Teil bewirkt durch das Anpressen des Bogenendes an die darunter liegenden Be- steckteile ein festes Zusammenhalten der Teile, wobei der in die Querschlitze eingreifende Vorsprung die Teile verriegelt.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt eine Ansicht des zusammengesteckten Essbesteckes und Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht im Schnitt nach der Linie IN-IN in Fig. 1.
Die Teile des Besteckes sind in der Reihenfolge Löffel 1, Gabel 2, Messer 3 und Dosen- öffner 4 übereinandergelegt. Die Verbindung der Teile erfolgt mittels eines Bajonettverschlusses unter Verwendung einer Niete 5, die am Dosenöffner 4 angeordnet ist. In den Stielen 6,7, 8 der anderen Teile sind Längsschlitze 9, 10, 11 vorgesehen, die sich im übereinanderliegenden Zustand der Teile 1, 2,3 decken (Fig. 2) und durch die die Niete 5 gesteckt wird. Weiters sind in den Stielen des Löffels, der Gabel und des Messers vom Rande nach innen verlaufende Schlitze 12,13, 14 vorgesehen, welche in der Verschlussstellung übereinanderliegen und in die das hakenförmig abgebogene Ende 16 des beim Offnen von Dosen als Stütze 15 dienenden Teiles des Dosenöffners eingreift. Damit ist ein gegenseitiges Verschieben bzw.
Auseinanderfallen der Besteckteile in einfacher Weise verhindert. Von den vier Teilen des Besteckes ist der Dosenöffner 4 so ausgebildet, dass er am unteren Ende eine bogenförmige Wölbung aufweist. Dieser bogenförmige Teil stellt eine Feder dar, die beim Schliessen des Besteckes durch Anpressen des Bogenendes an die darunter liegenden Besteckteile ein festes Klemmen der vier Teile aufeinander bewirkt. Das hakenförmig abgebogene Ende 16 hat dabei den Zweck, die durch die

Anpressung des federnden Teiles bewirkte Spannung zu verriegeln.
Beim Zusammenstecken des Besteckes werden die Besteckteile Löffel, Gabel, Messer mit ihren Längsschlitzen auf die Niete des Dosenöffners so gesteckt, dass sie übereinanderliegend mit dem Dosenöffner einen Winkel einschliessen, wie die strichpunktierte Stellung des Dosen- öffners in Fig. 1 zeigt. Durch Verdrehen des Dosenöffners 4 relativ zu den Besteckteilen 1, 2 und 3 in die einander überdeckende Lage, die in Fig. 1 in vollen Linien dargestellt ist, kommt das hakenförmige Ende 16 in die Schlitze 12, 13 und 14 zu liegen und sichert dadurch die Niete 5 in den Schlitzen 9,10, 11 gegen Verschiebung, so dass die Besteckteile 1-4 in der Verschlussstellung sicher zusammengehalten werden, wobei eine zusätzliche Sicherung durch gegenseitiges Verdrehen der Besteckteile durch die Anpressung des bogenförmigen Endes des Teiles 4 erzielt wird.
Zum Auseinandernehmen des Besteckes werden Löffel, Gabel und Messer oder der Dosenöffner im entgegengesetzten Sinn verdreht, wodurch das hakenförmige Ende 16 ausser Eingriff mit den Schlitzen gebracht wird.
Im Rahmen der Erfindung können mehrfache Abänderungen vorgenommen werden, z. B. kann der hakenförmige Ansatz 16 bzw. auch die Niete 5 statt am Dosenöffner auch an einem anderen Besteckteil in Form eines Vorsprunges od. dgl. vorgesehen sein oder das Besteck auch aus mehr oder weniger als vier Teilen bestehen.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Zusammensteckbares Essbesteck, z. B. bestehend aus Löffel, Gabel, Messer und Dosen- öffner, bei welchem die Besteckteile unter Vorspannung aufeinanderliegen und mittels eines Bajonettverschlusses zusammengehalten werden, wobei eine an einem Besteckteil angeordnete Niete Längsschlitze in den Stielen der anderen Besteckteile durchsetzt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Stiel eines der Besteckteile ein Vorsprung und an den Stielen der übrigen Besteckteile diesem Vorsprung zugeordnete im übereinander liegenden Zustand der Besteckteile sich deckende, vom Rande nach innen verlaufende Schlitze (12,13, 14) vorgesehen sind, wobei der Vorsprung in der Verschlussstellung in die Schlitze eingreift, um eine Relativverschiebung der Besteckteile zu verhindern und dadurch den Bajonettverschluss zu sichern.
