Bei einem Webstuhl mit Peitsche ist der Treiber gewöhnlich mit dem Schützenkasten verbunden, denn er wird in seiner geradlinigen Bewegung durch die Schützenspindel geführt, die ihn durchdringt und welche an dem Schützenkasten selbst befestigt ist.
Nach vorliegender Erfindung wird an der Auswechselseite des Stuhles die Schlagbewegung vom Schiagriemen der Peitsche auf den Treiber durch einen nach Art der Schläger (Schlagstöcke) für Unterschlag ausgebildeten Hilfsschläger übertragen, durch welchen der Treiber geführt wird, so dass die Treiberspindel entfällt und das Heben des Schützen kastens zum Zwecke des Auswechselns des Schützens nach Patent Nr. ! 4738 ungehindert erfolgen kann.
