Box, in particular for holding shoe polish
It is known to have cans for shoe polish or similar fillings on the lower surface with an adhesive
Plate or the like to be provided in order to prevent the can from slipping during use as possible.
As is known, the generally cylindrical cans are stacked on top of one another to form a column and in this arrangement are kept for sale in sales stands or cabinets. It is understandably common in retail stores to pull the cans that are being sold from the bottom of the stack in order to ensure that the goods that have been in storage for the longest time are always sold. The presence of adhesive surfaces on the bottom of the cans, however, makes it extremely difficult to remove them due to the weight on the bottom can, so that cans provided with adhesive surfaces can only move with
Have difficulties removed from the stacking layer that is characteristic of stock keeping.
The aim of the invention is to eliminate this deficiency by taking measures which exclude the adhesive effect during storage in a stacked arrangement. According to the invention, such a measure consists in the fact that the can intended for retail has a removable adhesive disk (e.g. rubber disk or the like) in the filled state below the lid, above the contents, which can be removed after opening the container to be attached to the bottom of the can.
The ready-packed can for sale therefore has no adhesive properties on the can bottom, so that it is easily possible to pull the bottom can out of the stack. The can is usually only provided with the adhesive disc by the consumer.
In carrying out the idea of the invention, there is also the possibility of providing the adhesive surface of the adhesive disc with a film-like coating which is to be removed by the consumer before he attaches the adhesive disc to the bottom of the can.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing, u. between a can is shown in section.
In the pre-packed jar consisting of a lower part 1 and a lid part 2, an adhesive disk 3 is arranged on the filling material below the lid, which has the adhesive surface 4 on one side and the adhesive surface 5 on the other. The usual tinfoil layer covering the shoe polish is denoted by 6 and a film covering the adhesive layer 5 is denoted by 7.
By means of a suitable notice, which is attached to the can or inside the can, expediently on the removable film 7, the consumer is guided to remove the adhesive disk 3 after lifting the cover 2, to pull the film 7 off from it and to remove the disk 3 to apply with the adhesive layer 5 to the bottom of the can lower part 1, so that the can is provided in this way with an adhesive layer on the bottom.
