    Vessel occlusion.

The present invention relates to a closure for vessels of all kinds. Vessel closures are already known in which a circumferential elastic packing ring is inserted into a groove or undercut below the upper edge of the vessel and the shape of this ring and the undercut is chosen such that the outer surface of the packing ring is inclined outwards and downwards and in which a closure cap, which is designed with an outwardly curved and downwardly inclined flange, is simply placed on the upper edge of the vessel in such a way that the flange lies tightly against the outside of the packing ring. Such closures only hold tight and tight insolan when the pressure inside the vessel is lower than the external pressure.

The present one differs from these closures in that the lower one

EMI2.2 PATENT CLAIM: Vessel closure, characterized in that the lower edge or the flange of a closure cap is bent inwards under a sealing ring (5) which is supported in a known manner against a shoulder (3) of the vessel edge and presses it from below against the shoulder.
